I’m 5’11 and 217 pounds and would like to get into better shape and ultimately down to about 180 lbs or so.
I’m limited on some of the working out I can do, but if someone that knows what they’re talking about, I do need help on eating better, and would give weekly updates in this thread.

That's the extent of my personal trainer expertise. 500 dollars, please!

How are you limited?
How much time a week do you have to work out, and what exactly do you have access to?

How are you limited? How much time a week do you have to work out, and what exactly do you have access to? I can’t lift a lot or do anything really strenuous because of a surgery I have had-I’m an avid walker when weather permits and could handle some basic stuff without equipment

I can't give qualified advice, but I switched out the snacks I used to eat for watermelon, oranges & small amounts of mixed nuts. That combined with about 40 minutes walking 5 days a week made me drop a couple of sizes.

I want you to pretend your body is a fire hydrant and when that hydrant comes on-BANG!
