A NJPW subreddit poster picked up a special December edition of Weekly Pro Wrestling in Japan, and it includes short bios of almost every name wrestler in the country; the bios, of course, include favorite foods. Here's the link: www.reddit.com/r/njpw/comments/7re9fc/every_njpw_roster_members_favourite_foods/Highlights include Tanahashi liking pancakes, Okada liking "dough" (as in "money"), and Satoshi Kojima liking a lot of things, but most especially his precious bread. Disappointments mainly revolve around Minoru Suzuki not answering "the vital organs of Young Lions". No surprise that Yakiniku is way up there, as pro wrestlers would naturally have an affinity for piles of grilled meats.

Togi Makabe: Hot girls and sweets
This is a man with exquisite taste I approve
Minoru Suzuki: Karaage with mayonnaise dressing
This was a clearly wrong translation he definetly meant the blood of the innocent
Bad Luck Fale: Crab
I am gonna call him a liar this is all
Tomohiro Ishii: Sushi, cow/pig entrails
Of which he rips out with his bare hands

Cool to hear that Jushin Thunder Liger likes durians. I love them too!
For those who don’t know they’re a spikey fruit that look like they came out of a videogame. They’re not for everyone as they have a very strong and unique smell. In Thailand, Myanmar, and some other countries, some places will even put up signs saying durians aren’t allowed.

More then ten years ago they opened up an Asian supermarket within driving distance of my apartment at the time. I went there to see what unique things they had. Bought a lot of fish and some other stuff, and also a package of durian cookies. When I got in the car I opened up the package of cookies and tried one, thought "bleh", and left them alone in the passenger seat. As I'm driving home I start smelling something absolutely atrocious and when I get home I very nearly threw out all the fish I bought thinking they had to have gone bad to cause that smell. Ever since then I won't go near anything durian.

"Bushi: Karaage [fried chicken] from Marubu Shouten [Bushi's restaurant]" Apparently Bushi owns a restaurant and that's rad.

If I went out for a meal with Ospreay or Oka I'd be happy with them choosing the restaurant, they've both got good taste. Maybe Oka picked up his taste for lamb on his travels, its hardly ever eaten in Japan, it has to be imported (very few sheep in the country) and many Japanese people I've spoken to dislike the smell.

I always knew Yujiro liked tacos. With the stranger part being that YOSHI HASHI's nickname is "Tacos", yet he likes watermelon.

I've had mixed experiences with sheep meat. It can be very greasy. I've never tried lamb, though, just what I can only assume is adult sheep. It's not really a big thing here in Texas, though, with beef and pork being much more dominant. Guessing up north, it'd be more readily available.

Evil just saying “no comment” legit made me laugh out loud. I initially took that as EVIL not needing food to survive, but then I thought about it and EVIL probably only eats EVIL things, and since EVERYTHING is EVIL, EVIL must just eat EVERYTHING. It's the only reasonable answer, really.
