Lol giving Punk another chance...
I can't see how he'll improve in just two years after the last fiasco.

Lesnar would be able to fight by now, but he never entered the testing pool so that his one year suspension could start getting counted down.

Dana would sign Greg Hardy is he could pop a one-night buyrate.

Why would Dana give Punk another chance? Not only is he a shit real fighter, but the curiosity buyrate factor isn’t even a thing anymore.

Great, so Punk will either win against a complete nobody or he'll lose in 2 minutes like last time. Kind of wondering when Punk will knock it off and join Bullet Club as he and The Young Bucks seem to want anyway.

Why would Dana give Punk another chance? Not only is he a shit real fighter, but the curiosity buyrate factor isn’t even a thing anymore. Because the UFC went from having a stable of marketable stars that could pop a good buyrate to two or three fighters that can pop a good buyrate. In the golden era, a 300,000 buy show would be looked at as a disappointment. Today, it's considered to be a good buyrate. Dana now sees Punk as somebody who could still draw casual interest from wrestling fans.

Lol giving Punk another chance... I can't see how he'll improve in just two years after the last fiasco. He'll lose in just over 4 minutes instead of 2 this time.

There will still be X amount of people who will pay to see him, even if that number is 20% of what it is last time. There is also still Y number of people who will pay to see him lose, because 'F that fake wrestler guy!' First off - money is money, even if the product suffers for 15 minutes. Second it is the best way to TRY and create new stars by getting eyes on people who wouldn't be seen by as many people otherwise.

A 300,000 ppv buys is now a major success when you don't have stars now. It's sad that tonight ufc 220 has two title fights but they will certainly draw less ppv buys than when CM Punk gets his ass kicked.

I was a big fan of Punk in ROH and WWE, but I think he should quit while he's ahead, more power to him to keep trying though.
