Home stadium, do you think that would be good for the city or bad? I remember reading that it would be bad because there would be less tourists and less money. What do you think?

It is not as good for the host city for that week, but it can help keep a local fan base interested in attending home games next year.

At the very least, that city would have to be a mess that night. Win or lose, there's got to be just drunks everywhere.

People say "it's bad" but we have absolutely no real evidence to historical examples to support this as it's never happened.
The theory is that it's not going to be a tourism destination for the hosting city, but who holds off on seeing who is in the Super Bowl to get tickets?
If you're going to the Super Bowl, you're going to the Super Bowl regardless.

The prices for SB tickets are so expensive so I doubt it would have much impact. Sure hotels and tourism might take a small dip, but the home market won't be able to fill the seats all by themselves since most SB tickets start at the $2000 range and go up from there.
