Womens Rumble - Who Starts & Ironwoman

If it were up to y'all, who would you have start the Rumble and who would play the ironwoman role, IE last a long time but not quite win it like Jericho last year for the men.

I'm saying Natalya for #1 - there was a video put out recently with her talking about Bret being #1 in the first Rumble match.

#2 I think Naomi so they can get the entrance in.

Becky's insert promo on the last Smackdown made reference to her being Smackdown Live's first draft pick and first Smackdown Women's champion, which made me wonder if that trend will continue for her in the Rumble match. Either way, I think she's likely to be the ironwoman.

Yeah, I expect her, Natalya and possibly Mickie to all have long runs in the match, being the experienced ring generals keeping things in order. Asuka could apply here too, but she's probably coming in late to clear most of these girls out for the finishing stretch.

She's one of the most over women they have and cementing her as a top level wrestler would be a great idea.

Think Bayley and Becky will be the first two, then both get tossed out by nia jax who eliminates each girl who comes in one by one until asuka comes in and takes her out and she'll last the longest.

That would be a good way to re-build her credibility, which never should have taken a hit in the first place.  I'd be fine with her or Becky being the Ironwoman, really.

All I know is it should come down to Becky and Asuka, since they teased that at Survivor Series but we never got it.

I'll apply current WWE booking logic to it:


Alexa comes out at #1 saying she is going to win and unify the titles at Mania to prove she's the best.
She wins, is obviously the Ironwoman and goes to Mania and wins to unify the titles.

I have becky for the ironwoman as well. probably makes the final four before being eliminated. will be among the first four entrants. sasha will of course be the first entrant cause HISTORY! and charlotte isn't in the match. i'll say sasha and nattie to start.

I can definitely see Becky and Natalya being put in the "Jericho" role and being given real long runs mainly to direct traffic and make things run smoothly especially with there being some very green girls in the match. Despite her experience I've never really seen Mickie as much of a "general" type at least compared to the other two and Asuka doesn't speak English that well so I don't think she would be good in that role. Like you said she's probably someone who will come in late and clean up.

Becky would be my pick for #1 and iron woman as I think she would be the best fit for that role. On the other hand though although I could see her lasting long, I could also see her getting eliminated early and get made to look like a doofus like at Survivor Series. Same thing for Bayley another girl who they like to crap on a lot.

If Charlotte is in it, she’s definitely going to be the Ironwoman as a call back to the Nature Boy. #1 will either be Charlotte or Bayley I would guess.

Sasha makes sense for number one because she'll get a big pop and it's another little feather for her cap. I'm guessing Becky for Ironwoman, as everyone else seems to be. She's a nice, solid, reliable hand who can help direct traffic. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see her as entrant number two to get the horsewoman reference in their straight away, and know Becky and Sasha would love a chance to get the spotlight together for a few moments.
