Eddy by far. This may or may not have anything to do with the fact that I'm from El Paso.

Eddie to me is an upper midcarder that had his best matches in WCW and NJPW. I'm glad he got a run with the belt but I think of his personality (Latino Heat, Lie Cheat Steal) more than being a top level guy in WWE. Daniel Bryan was one his way to being one of the very best of all time before the injury problems.

Have more of a personal connection with Daniel Bryan as I feel like I was in the audience for his journey in a way. The first mania I went to was 28, and that and the following night were the birth of Yes! I did 29 and saw Team Hell No, then was at 30 to see it finally culminate with him beating Triple H and winning the title in the same night. Best moment in my WWE watching existence so however much I liked Eddie - D-Bry wins.

I love Bryan, but I gotta go with Eddie. I was a fan of his since I first started watching WCW.
Bryan might've had a chance to eclipse him, but the injuries cut what could've been a legendary career short.

Guerrero and it's not all that close for me. Yeah, Eddie easily to me. In almost every aspect. The one edge I give Brian is he seems to have a good head on his shoulders in real life...but as an athlete/wrestler/entertainer? Eddie by a mile.

Eddie by far
Bryan argueably is the better wrestler but Eddie just blows him out of the water in everything else IMO.

I didn't vote cuz in love them both the same.
I got to thinking. What if Eddie and Kane formed an Team Hell no like tag team? That would of been insanely entertaining!

It's really tough but no matter the criteria, I'd say Eddie shades it. He just had that bit extra variety.
Basically if you put Eddie in Bryan's storylines, match quality and angles don't suffer.
Bryan couldn't do a lot of what Eddie did character wise, even taking the nationality/ethnicity side out of it. Eddie could be a really psychotic heel and a really smarmy one. Bryan doesn't have that in his locker. His heel game is either weasel, douche and whatever his current deal is. Not a lot of change there.

Eddie is one of my all time favorites. I think Bryan had a better ride to the top, but Eddie is just the greatest ever to wrestle in a wrestling ring.

Eddie. There might be a bit of nostalgia playing into it but all around, I just think he had an extra something that Bryan doesn't.

Which performer did you enjoy more? And who did you think had a better rise to the top? I always enjoyed Eddie more. He was what got me into wrestling. Nothing can beat his lie, cheat, and steal persona as well as his road to the top Ooof that's tough! Eddie but it's neck and neck. D Bryan's crazy mania 30 ascension is the stuff of legend.

Eddie is unbelievably good. I keep seeing old stuff of his on reviews and the way he gets gold out of even shitty matches is just extraordinary. He has a huge body of work.
Don't get me wrong, it's surprisingly close run, but Eddie is the better one.
