Talking about episodic shows, not anthologies.
Considering doing this with Breaking Bad, especially as my girlfriend never saw it and it is the 10 year anniversary so it has some people talking about it.

Person of Interest is the first show that comes to mind for me. Even when it had "save person of the week" episodes, it developed characters or the story arc as the secondary point. And it picks up well as it goes along.

yes they replay it on channels over and over, and truthful it helps that I find some of the women on the show attractive but go ahead and put me in front of Law & Order or its spin offs SVU and CI and I will most likely watch them again
