The thread about what you feel is the last moment something in WWE made you yell out in joy got me to thinking about a similar topic...
In the past five years, when was the last time you felt that WWE was "can't miss, must see", in your personal opinion?
I'm talking about... watch every week (or at least frequently enough), looking forward to each new show with anticipation type of can't miss.
Not look up clips of certain segments/matches online or watch the occassional WrestleMania or Royal Rumble type of "can't miss".
As I said in the other thread, for me it would be early 2014.

Raw after Wrestlemania 30. The streak broken. The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan back on board. Bryan is the champion. It was a an intriguing and very interesting concoction.
I truly considered making Raw a must see show again for the first time in a decade.

I'd actually say fairly recently, the build up to Survivor Series 2017, for a few weeks, there was important stuff happening every show that you needed to keep up with, rather than "matches implied or announced, holding pattern to the PPV" booking that's been going on the last few years.

Aside from nostalgia specials like last night, the only time I can't miss WWE is the night after Wrestlemania.
It's the only show where I know I'm going to see sustained glimpses of when it used to be better. You know you are guaranteed a hot crowd and lots of can't miss moments on that show.

I'd say around the time when Daniel Bryan was being built up for Wrestlemania 30, after that it's been downhill for me outside of a few episodes here and there.

The later days build to Wrestlemania 30 where the show felt fresh and new talents were getting huge pushes. The company finally threw their hands up and said "Fine" over Bryan, you had The Shield at the top of their game after the Rhodes, Uso, and Wyatt feuds, Cesaro gaining traction with the audience, Bray getting a lot of build, the curiosity over the internal chaos of the Bryan thing and Punk leaving. It wasn't a perfect Wrestlemania season and not everything they did really panned out as hoped, but it was exciting, and people couldn't call the main event of Wrestlemania a year in advance. It looked like a whole lot of really big changes were about to come, and that added something to back as far as a freshness WWE hasn't really been able to find again since then.

I'd say last night was "can't miss," the Raw 25 show. I was really excited for it and couldn't wait to see what they had in store. I kept thinking to myself, I'll bet something UN-BEEE-LIEVEABLE! was going to happen.
Yep.

I concur with the Mania 30 talks. I would also say the night Sting returned at Survivor Series, that was a must see following RAW... even if nothing really happened.

I think June of 2013, when Bryan began his weak link angle, to the night after WM 30 was pretty freakin' golden. You had Bryan tearing it up almost every week in TV matches, you had the tease of a Cesaro turn, you had The Shield elevating The Usos, you had Punk's last great arc with Lesnar, you had Cody looking like a bright star for a minute. And most personally to me, you had AJ Lee vs Kaitlyn which is the first women's feud that fans bought into from start to finish in a long time. It all culminated the night after Wrestlemania 30 in most cases: Bryan had his moment. Cesaro rejected Zeb. AJ's overness was utilized to put over Paige in a big way; the first woman's segment to ever get a 'this is awesome' chant. And I don't think WWE will ever look more promising than the closing shot of The Shield and Bryan standing tall as the old guard (Triple H, Orton, Batista) retreat. It says so much about WWE that they just reverted to their habits the following week.

The weeks leading up to and the night after Wrestlemania 30. That's pretty much it.

The last time it was still watchable and a well booked wrestling program was Smackdown after the brand split up until the build up for WrestleMania 33 when everything fell apart.

The closest with me was the arrival of The Shield. Just waiting to see wgst they would do and who'd be attacked this week.
