Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns

Seems like most of the rumors are leaning towards Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar headlining WrestleMania. But if we could fantasize for a bit, and what if instead, we got Braun vs. Roman at WrestleMania? What if WWE threw a curveball and Braun goes over at the Royal Rumble. As over as Braun is now, I don't see why WWE doesn't push him to the moon and have him the next Austin-like antihero babyface. 

Let's say the following scenarios occur.  Braun wins the title at Royal Rumble by defeating Kane. Brock doesn't have to job, and thus remain as strong as he was going into the Rumble. Maybe Brock is put somewhere else at Mania, like against Demon Balor. 

Roman wins the EC, and becomes the #1 contender at Mania. Unlike the main event from Great Balls of Fire, Roman and Braun have unfinished business and I don't think there has been a decisive winner in their feud yet. And if this were a fantasy world come true, we get an official double turn at Mania like Austin/Bret in 1997.

Unless I’m mistaken, this is Brock’s last year on his current contract, and if he chooses not to resign, then this will also be his last Wrestlemania. If that’s the case, then they’ll have their dream (re)match between him and Reigns. They’ve put way too much time and effort into this useless storyline for Vince to even consider giving up on it this close to the payoff.

I’d rather have Strowman headline Mania too, but baring some unfortunate incident between now and then, it’s just not going to happen. Not after they’ve already postponed Vince’s grand vision for Roman for the last three years and this possibly being the last chance to get it.

Nah, I think Strowman will have his time but I'd prefer they get this Roman vs. Brock deal out of their system first.

This is probably the correct main event they should do at Wrestlemania. Brock Lesnar should be in an attraction match of some sort. This might sound crazy in hindsight, but they are going to mess around and pull a Ryback with Strowman.

That would be interesting to debate: who was more over at their peak- Strowman or Ryback?
