Aside from the dudebros in the crowd chanting for their spouses, it was a lot of fun.

I'll give it a 7. There were some awkward spots, but some really fun moments and the surprise returns were mostly great.

It was ok, but they sort of painted themselves into a corner with it. They really don't have the roster depth to do one every year but if they only do one, it just looks like pandering.

I totally understand if people like that. But what they did was turn the women’s division into a gimmick. That saturation of old has-beens made me verbally react. It was only after about the fifth or sixth has been that I just submitted and admitted that this organization is not going to treat the women’s division as anything more than a bad reality show gimmick. That was some straight up Kevin Nash level cronyism right there.
I get that some people will like it. But I value the current women’s roster, and they got shafted big time.

I'll give it an 8 as well for reasons stated by others.

also honestly props to them for having the balls to put it as the main event because it really could have died a death out there

I'll go 5 or 6. Not bad, some of them got to look pretty damn good, but holy crap, in both this and the men's rumble the amount of people laying around doing nothing is really, really bad booking for a battle royale.

I'd call it a 7. It was fine, nothing egregious happened, it suffered mostly from an exhausted crowd and following the earlier Rumble, and it had a few too many sloppy workers and nostalgia acts who shouldn't have been there to muck up the works a bit. I would have brought in Asuka a lot earlier to shore up the workhorse factor a bit more and give the match someone else to help carry it in its slower spots.

8. It was a lot of fun, there was a lot of women returning I had forgotten about but loved seeing (Molly especially). Nia Jax looked great as far as I'm concerned, a lot better than I've thought she's looked so far - she legit looked like she could just power through everything, including Beth Phoenix. First experience seeing Kairi Sane and Ember Moon, liked what I saw from both of them. Ending sequence was great, most of the women looked at they very least like they hadn't lost a step. It was a great time for me.

7.5 rounded up to 8. Entertaining match, wanted Asuka to win and wasn't disappointed there. Could have done without the Rousey show-stealing at the end, but I guess I can't really factor that into the grade.

I think it had trouble living up to the spectacular Rumble, but there was a lot of fun to be had here. Asuka looked awesome, Sasha's probably set up for a match with Bayley, we got to see several eras of women's wrestling, and Trish was still bloody good in the ring after so long away. Also I will always mark for the Molly Go Round.
I think it was hurt slightly by Raw 25. Imagine if the men's surprises were Godfather, Brother Love and X-Pac. The returns would have had more impact if we hadn't seem them a week ago.

Held my breath the whole time, kept waiting if they would do the Ronda/Steph thing many feared.
Didn't.
9/10.
Would have been 10/10 if they saved Ronda for tomorrow.

Not astounding but you know what? I had fun. It was a fun match. A few slip ups push it to a 7 but 8 seems fair too.

I will give WWE all the credit in the world for building this up the most obnoxious way possible, but absolutely delivering a match worthy of main eventing the show. We saw way more names than I expected, and so many of them absolutely nailed it. Trish looked incredible out there. Molly did, too. I didn't even expect to see her. No Victoria, Ivory, Melina, or Alundra, but they basically got everyone else I found to be memorable that could realistically perform. We got a Divas of Doom reunion! Sasha turning on Bailey and acting more as a heel, which made total sense for a match like this. And then Asuka takes it after Nikki turns on Brie. Stephanie was totally fine on commentary, too. I felt like this had a huge possibility of being a disaster, and while it wasn't perfect and it was confusing at times who was in and who was just outside the ring, I overall felt this was way better than expected. I'll enjoy watching this again as the years go on just to see some of my old favorites mixing it up with the good girls they have like Nattie, Sasha, Becky, etc.
Pretty cool night.

I'll say 5, mostly because the crowd was just bored throughout it. As I thought about it, I realized this Rumble was more for celebrating the Divas from the attitude era more than anything and they all got some nice pops (including a cool moment for Trish and Mickie), so in that sense it was a good chance to celebrate those women.
But 3 things worked against it.
1.The crowd took me out of it. They weren't even vicious like I thought they'd be, they just seemed bored. Though they did pop for a few things (Ember/Asuka, Trish Mickie, Asuka's Gonna Kill You) but for the most part they didn't care.
2.God love them for trying but most of the women in the match were just not ready for a match like this. Not the disaster it could have been, but it was rather clunky.
3.Commentary. Good god was Steph brutal. I normally don't mind her as a promo too much, but she seemed out of her element. Corey and Cole seemed very off early but got better.
So in short, as platform for celebrating the women of the 2000's and the early years of this decade? It was a 10 to me as it gave them all nice pops and got them a chance to not be looked at as jokes. As an in ring product? 5. Just too few of the wrestlers were ready for the match. Atmosphere and commentary? 1 or 2... just seemed like they weren't fully prepared or didn't much thought into it and had no idea what to do.

If it was a 20 woman rumble or every two years then it's a bit more feasible. Which is less than what the men get, so it paints the women as unequal. That's the dilemma I see. Any other gimmick match, Money in the Bank, Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber, they could do every year. The problem with the Rumble is strictly a "By The Numbers" problem, if you will. They don't have enough women to keep it fresh or not have 2/3 of the women come out to silence.

Solid 7. Didn't have the highest expectations, but it was for the most part good with a few great moments in there. For the first Women's Rumble, it's a damn good place to start.

Was one of the people expecting a trainwreck but it was actually pretty fun. I'll give it a seven.
