It feels like every time this dude is getting his momentum back he is just beat clean by someone and treated like absolute trash. Tonight he loses to Cena who didn't need the win, just so he can probably lose to Elias and continue their feud. But why did BALOR have to be a fall guy here and miss out on the chamber? He has NO FEUD going on right now, was just getting over after jobbing out to Kane and reuniting with The Club, had an amazing Rumble showing, and now this, this pile of shit. Was Bray unavailable to job? F***ing christ.
I will not miss Cena when he retires, I'm so sick of this bullshit of him beating young stars with a future to try and remain relevant between movies. Balor deserves better than this, but he's becoming the next "Oh man maybe this time he'll get a push, ah nevermind" guy... and that worries me.
And no I don't want him to turn heel because that feels like WWE's constant out because they can't write actual over faces because they don't seen to understand the definition of making a crowd happy.

This will teach him a lesson to not get his elbow busted, obviously.

Honestly Balor was probably better off losing that one. They're clearly setting him up to turn heel and really better to lose after a back and forth from Cena ending in Cena breaking out the big guns than being third gone in the Elimination Chamber.
That said, I have no idea what the point was of structuring the match around Cena having an existential crisis and yet still having him win decisively.

Either he’s facing Miz or with the Club vs New Day at Wrestlemania.

Him turning heel is stupid to me though, like, WWE are already short on faces the fans actually give a shit about, this would just make it worse. They're not gonna BOO Balor.

Because Kane and Cena are selfish. They don't deserve to be around any longer.

Vince didn't create Balor/Devitt, he got injured after getting a belt & the stable he used to lead years ago is over without WWE. In Vince's view, he's lucky to have a job.
Cent knows this too. He could go right up to Vince & say "change the finish & let's put him over" & Vince would do it. Cena has a receipt to Elias waiting too. He sucks. I think between him & Lesnar they have me fully behind plucky underdog bayface Roman Reigns.

At this point, this has to be some bizarre punishment for getting hurt at SummerSlam 2016.

Finn being a bit player in a story to set up a match that would've been awesome 7 years ago (a match that doesn't even involve him, mind you) is pretty much a microcosm of modern-day WWE.

*walks in, lights cigarrete*
So. I'll straight up say I wanted Cena to win because he's one of the only acts I give a f*** about in WWE.
That being said.
The f*** was the point of DX giving Finn and Da Baldies the endorsement last week? Since then, Da Baldies lost their rematch to the Revival and Finn got bodied by Cena. The same Cena that couldn't pin Roman after like five finishers. The same Cena that did piss all in the Surivor Series match before getting pinned in an unceremonious fashion.
I just don't get what they are doing with him. Like, each week has a different creative direction before it rapidly changes the next week. Like, figure out something to do with him and stick with it.

Because Kane and Cena are selfish. They don't deserve to be around any longer. Kane takes losses left and right, is a fantastic example of how to run with whatever creative gives you and is hugely respected to keep around backstage. Cena consistently puts on tremendous matches and gets the biggest reactions still. He's lost plenty in recent times too. It would be bizarre for WWE to just drop them.

f*** that Taker match. Give us Balor/Cena where Balor wins deceisively. I swear I was ok with Cena since the Styles feud but this shit was really the last straw for me. Balor was one of the only dudes who got cheers against Cena, Balor is over, Balor is great at what he does and he's worked hard as hell climbing back after his falls and you put hm against a Cena apologizing to the fans, a Cena not giving a f*** in the match while playing around, a Cena who's just out there doing him? When there's a new star on the rise? How the f*** do you make new stars when this shit happens?
I want Balor/Cena at WM now and I want Balor to beat the breaks off this dude John and I don't even want his goons to help him. f*** it. Let's do some Okada shit and have dude take over.

This is a show that is rewritten like 50 times before the show even starts within the hour of when it starts, doesn't shock me.

After his Rumble showing would have been the perfect time for him to go on a tear & build his character up. Instead, Cena happened. Sigh.
