That's right not only are they making Krypton, DC Television is making a second Superman prequel show centered around Lois Lane and not yet evil mastermind Lex Luthor. Produced by the Gotham people... so I guess take that how you will. It's going to be for the DC streaming service. comicbook.com/dc/2018/01/30/dc-superman-prequel-tv-series-metropolis/

Hooboy, get ready for some continuity-breaking shenanigans... Well it is produced by the Gotham people... I expect it Zod and Doomsday to show up in Metropolis before Clark leaves Kansas.

And yet my series pitch; "As Right as Rayner" with a young Kyle Rayner juggling his career as a graphic artist and hobbies in North Hollywood, goes unsold.
Talk about unfair.

Take your idea, change Kyle Rayner's name to Hal Jordan, and then change absolutely nothing else. Then DC will buy it. Hell, Geoff Johns will probably pay for it out of his own salary. As for this, all I can think is somebody watched Smallville, complained that Clark wasn't acting Supermany enough, and decided to fix that by getting rid of Clark altogether. Is this really the best idea you can come up with DC? I mean, Krypton doesn't really appeal to me at all, but at least it feels original. And I've said it before, I'll say it again, nobody's gonna buy a Superman project that doesn't have Chloe Sullivan in it. NOBODY.

Lois and Zod hook up and share an apartment. They have a kid, and that kid grows up to be Superman. Because who cares, no one's watching this!

Like Gotham, you say?
Sounds like a bad show. Pass.
DC, make shows about the characters people want to see that you can't get a movie about them right. Or don't make anything at all.

Hooboy, get ready for some continuity-breaking shenanigans... Isn't the whole point of these shows that they exist in their own continuity so can do whatever they want?

Wonder Woman is the Lance Storm push of DC's Russo WCW era, isn't it?
