I liked it. I watched it when it first came out and was rewatching a little bit of it since it was on HBO yesterday during my day off. Lots of people seem to disagree though.
Is it really that bad? It looks like there are a lot of scathing reviews for it.

I haven't seen it, but I was open to it when it was out. I'll give it a go.
I think a lot of people trashed it because of Amy Schumer, who seems to be hated everywhere.

It was pretty bad. I have a weird infatuation with Amy Schumer, as even though she's kind of gross, I'm still oddly attracted to her for some reason. But as far as the writing, acting, etc. It was a piece of junk.

I rented it from Netflix a few weeks ago. I rarely do what was about to happen, but after half an hour I bailed and sent it back. Just not good.
I made the mistake of watching her latest Netflix special a few days later. I laughed once.
And I found her earlier specials, Trainwreck and Inside Amy Schumer very funny.....still do (watched Trainwreck last week, fearing I'd lost some perspective, but it was as funny as I always enjoyed it to be), so I'm not some longtime hater or something. Neither of these things were funny.

Neither of these things were funny. At least that Netflix special was better than the new Whitney Cummings one on HBO. That one didn’t even feel like a comedic performance. It was more like that drunk dude at the bus stop who starts giving you a non-stop lecture based on their poor life decisions because you’re the only other person there.

I thought it was funny enough. Not every movie is going to be a 5 star classic. Sometimes movies are just average.
