Couldn't find the old Gundam thread, so here we go.
I haven't built a kit since 00 was on TV, and I kinda want to get back into it. I'd prefer to stick to the 1/100 scale stuff. Are they still High Grade and Master Grade? Any new grades or classes I should know about? And what are some of the cooler looking suits that have come out in the past ten years?
ALSO! I have a friend going to Japan in May. Are there any kids that you can only get over there? Because he said he'd bring me back one, but I'd hate for him to do that if I can just order everything on Amazon or whatever.

Well, I only started on the hobby last year so all I can say is a couple of things on this: - HG and MG are still the main grades available, but there are a few others that got in in the mean-time, namely the SD's (Super Deformed) and Real Grade (that are kinda like a midway point in complexity between HG and MG); - Yes, there's tons of models you can only get in Japan or at least that you can't find as easy anywhere eles. Especially limited run and older models/series that don't get re-releases. Like this bad boy:

But the most entertaining part of models (In my opinion of course) is painting them to look cooler/better... So thats kinda... I dunno, a waste? Hehehe.

I've built four units; HG Exia, two G-Selfs (one with the Assault Pack), and a G-Arcane.
My skills are C+ at best.

I just loved putting them together and displaying them around my room, pretending my bedroom was outer space. I'd spend so much time making sure the guns were pointed at each other.
