Since I was under the impresssion I was working Christmas, we did our gift exchange yesterday.
I was pretty pumped about a number of gifts, and genuinely surprised since I had specified "don't get me anything, spend the money on the kids". Needless to say, the chair with stereo speakers in it shocked me.
What got me was, my neices kept smiling, telling me how much I was going to love my gift. They're 7 and 10, so I'm obviously gong to pop for whatever they give me, because they're my neices.
However, when I opened the package, what first caught my eye was the giant WWE logo. It was a figure, I coud tell, but which?
They got my Psichosis, who is now standing on my desk.
What got me was, they left the receipt in the wrapping. The receipt was for one John Cena figure. Either someone hit the wrong button, someone's cooking the books, or I dodged a huge bullet.

Now, it could be the case that all the bar-codes on WWE figures are the same (unlikely, but possible) and/or they're all rung in under one title. Or it's possible the wwe is inflating numbers.

It wouldn't shock me if they were giving residuals to Cena for mid-card figures like Rob Conway.
Which is really unfair if you ask me. If someone likes your work enough to buy your figure, you deserve a cut.
One of the main reasons why Christian left the WWE is because they pulled his merchandise for, essentially, selling more than Cena's or HHH's stuff.

Hell, I'm just glad I pulled off the "mark out for gift from neices" face properly. I love them, so any gift is special, but it's still a Psicosis figure.
On the plus side, he is on my desk, with a model John Deere tractor I've had since I was about three. Haven't decided whether to give him a gun or not.

I admit, I would've marked out big if they'd have somehow found a Ron Simmons one. Not eve sure if there IS one, but it would've been chaos.

Oh yeah, there have surely been Ron Simmons figs in the past. I know they had them from his Nation days. I'd hazard a guess they made one of his APA run as well. But yeah, I don't think they have a current fig of him sitting around in stores (what a shame) DAMN!
