Talking about things you specifically remember happening in the 1980s, not 1980’s things you experienced after the fact like watching Return of the Jedi in 2009.
My earliest memories come from the 1980s, so they’re damn hard to remember. Maybe seeing Batman (1989) in the theater, but I cried during that one. Mostly because I was little more than a baby and that scene where Joker falls in the acid is scary.

Literally just this (and faint memories of Reagan and Bush.)

Any memory? Probably when my dad bought me the Thundertank and the Cats Lair when he came back from TDY.

I don't have just one, but I know waking up every Saturday morning to watch The Real Ghostbusters, Muppet Babies, and Pee-Wee's Playhouse is something I still have vivid fond memories of. Also the Summer of 1989 and Batmania. The hype for that movie was insane. Batman was everywhere.

Christmas morning 1985,might have been 84 but pretty sure it was 85,waking up and instead of the normal 2 or 3 Atari 2600 games waiting for me under the tree there was 20+ games. The home console video game crash majorly increased the size of my 2600 collection.

Singing Walk of Life and Higher Love in the car when my parents drove me to daycare. I don’t know why but I really liked those songs.

Saw BATMAN at the local drive-in theater. I miss that place.

Pretending to be a helicopter with my best friend by spinning in circles with our arms held out. He fell over, split his head open and had to get stitches. (We were 3 or 4 at the time).
Something I don't remember, but wish I did, is apparently at around the same age I was playing a kids version of pool with a different boy and he was cheating, so I picked up the pool table and hit him with it.
I was not a safe playmate. Not much has changed.

I will always remember decorating Christmas cookies every December. Mom would bake tons of them, and we'd have to decorate them all. I used to be a "solid color" sort of cookie decorator...so Santa was all red, a reindeer was all brown, a snowman was all white, ect. But as I got older, I remember being envious of my older brothers' and their much better decorated cookies. So eventually, Santa would get black boots, black belt, and white fur. A snowman would get a black hat and coal eyes and mouth. That sort of thing. We also went to this candy store every single year, and I'll always remember buying everything sour that I could from there. Then, my grandma decided to try a piece of the gum I got...and hated it so much she threw it out the door, LOL!

Hard to say. It all is a little bit of a blur.
On the plus side, I had a decent home life, a father who bought most toys I might want (beyond the USS Flagg, though to be honest I never actually asked for that), an my mom spoiled me when I was with her during the summers and over Christmas breaks. It was a comfortable living situation and I was a bit spoiled. I did get the opportunity to be exposed to most pop culture from those guilded days.
On the down side, I was a kid who had some health issues, some that was dealt with and some that were not. I had kidney issues that more or less meant I missed much of my 2nd grade year. It also frequently caused me to wet myself in class (a blockage would cause a great amount of pressure that would inflate the kidney until the pressure was enough to pop the blockage and flood my bladder beyond full). Being kid who peed himself was bad enough to be a target for bullies, but I was also the kid who was ultra scrawny because I had a then-undiagnosed form of muscular dystrophy. I also lacked the social skills to cope with bullies or make any really good friends, so my school life sucked all the way through beyond the decade.
As a result, every memory of mine from the 80’s is tainted by that. Memories are often shaped by your shared interactions with those around you, which means most of my positive memories are often playing by myself (my brothers were significantly younger than me).
In short, I remember the whole damned decade but if you want a good memory, you might prefer to ask about the 90’s best memories. That’s less depressing.
Sorry for the depressing rant. I just felt the need to vent. Still, it’s useful to look back at past rough times and acknowledge the progress you have made in your life. I really do feel better for venting.

Christmas, 84 or 85. My brother let me sit with him in his new pup tent and play with my toys while he played Frogger on Atari.

My 10th birthday in 1985. Lots of presents, Ghostbusters at the cinema and a McDonald's afterwards.
The simple pleasures of childhood.

I think my favorite year ever was 1987-I'm basing this on memory because I was into and discovering really cool things. I have fond memories of buying comic books, Mad & Cracked, and wrestling magazines from the drug store a block from my house. I started staying up late on Fridays watching the Tonight Show & Late Night with David Letterman, renting videos, and getting to go to the mall once a month. It was just a really beautiful time
