Had a feeling it was going to be this film.
From the review, it is as bad as the advertisements made it.

I'm glad that Lisa Kudrow has, usually, done alright for herself in film. She was always my favorite of the Friends actors.

This most likely got a pass from the Razzie people since it had the good fortune (or misfortune) as coming out the same year as: Gigli, The Cat in The Hat, From Justin To Kelly, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Daddy Day Care, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, Hulk, Charlie's Angels: Full Throtle, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Kangaroo Jack, The Matrix Revolutions, The Haunted Mansion, Hollywood Homicide, Boat Trip, The Real Cancun and The Room.

Starting to watch this now...
The f*** is up with that cast?! I like literally everyone in this! How did they end up in this?!
Edit: Finished the review...I have too many questions...

I've seen this.
I, also, like everyone involved, but it's amazing at 1) the complete lack of chemistry and 2) the utter misfire on every level that it is.
Just wildly out-of-touch where even a Hollywood view of hip-hop culture was at that particular point.
One plus side, however, is that the rap magazines that fly by during the opening credits are all only slightly altered indie rap magazines from that era, so much so that the original names from the featured stories and rappers are all intact, so a bunch of friends of mine got at least their names in a big screen Hollywood movie with a Wayans and a Friend.

I actually saw this in the theaters. In Living Color was always my favorite sketch show, and I enjoy Lisa Kudrow, so what could possibly go wrong? Whoo, boy.
The bit with the boy band felt dated when the film was released.
