At this point, it's like saying there isn't a product that will make Toys R Us a juggernaut again. You're right, but it's such an obvious statement why bother?

People ask this about a lot of wrestling guys, making obvious statements, giving an irrelevant opinion, talking about something everybody should have moved on from - but it's the interviewers that are the problem here. Nobody needed to ask Bischoff about this, but they did.

I thought it was 'Eric Bischoff Says No One At Impact Can Grow A Beard'. Even for Impact I thought that was a weird headline. That would explain what happened to all the plastic EY beards. Oh, and Bischoff is still a conman who ruined TNA at a point where they were turning a corner, correct points or no. That is the saddest part, TNA was regularly drawing around a million viewers each week before the infamous 1/4 show. Sure they bumped it half a million over previous shows, but it was never consistent again and the 500,000 gained, immediately left. If TNA had continued the direction it was going pre-Bischoff/Hogan, it would have eventually reached that point and actually stayed there.

Nobody needed to ask Bischoff about this, but they did. Pretty much. It’s a genuine pet peeve of mine. “Journalists” our celebrities or famous people in positions where they have to walk on egg shells to answer controversial questions. If they say no comment, people accuse them of being cowards, if they answer, people say “Well, you’re an idiot, why did you answer the question?” without any blame going to the person asking the question. If it’s to do with them, sure, ask and expect an answer if they haven’t asked it to death. Asking Bischoff about modern TNA, though, is needless because everyone’s asked him about it at this point and we end up having these same discussions over and over again. At this point, it’s like asking Alan Moore what he thinks of the modern comics industry. You know he hates it, I know he hates it, the spirit of Alan Moore’s grandmother knows too. Stop f***ing asking him about it.

This company has been DOA since they left Spike TV and the Impact Zone.
You had a loud solid fanbase that translated well on TV. Now it's dead quiet with worse production

Bischoff fails to mention that he had zero experience running a major company before he was put in charge of WCW. That negates everything he said about someone with no experience in that role supposedly being unable to transform a mediocre company into something successful.

TNA was never top two in the world. In America yes, but NJPW has always been bigger than them. One can argue that CMLL has been number 2 for a long time now. IIRC they are one of the oldest feds in the world. Draw huge crowds. And make a big profit each year. I just wish they had a show that was on a channel I got. I miss the days when Galavision showed 3 hours of CMLL and AAA each Saturday and Sunday. I recently found out through another thread on here that CMLL puts almost all of its shows up for free on its YouTube channel.

But when they get experienced people, people are like "what does TNA get guys that have failed elsewhere?". So which is which. Get fresh people that can look at things in a different matter or bring in experienced people that are supposed to know what make things work. JJ and Dutch were there for a big part of 2017 and creatively at least it still sucked.

It was just easier for me ,back in the day,to set the VCR to record the lucha 3 hour block on Galavision each week. Instead of having to goto the YT channels and download the videos. Then toss them on a flash drive and plug that into my Blu Ray. One day I need to finally get a Roku,Chromecast or Firestick.
