When ignoring the pressing question of Rhyno's Wrestlemania status, I think that the one thing that stood out to me the most about that Battle Royal was how casually The Revival got totally shitcanned over the ropes by The Miztourage of all people. Just gone like that to 0 reaction of any kind.
These dudes were maybe one of the most protected tag teams in WWE less than 2 years ago. They were routinely putting on some of the best tag matches in years like that shit was nothing, then two super unfortunate injuries later, they've sunken down so hard that they're actually lower on the kayfabe tier than The Club. These dudes went from feeling as cool as Top Guys suggested to being some of the biggest goobers on the roster. Even their promos now sound like f***ing Boomhauer trying to figure out where his life is at.
My point is that the fall from grace these dudes have had is kinda amazing and proof that you most definitely go from The Brain Busters to The Basham Brothers in record time if the universe hates you.

The Minnesota Jobbing Crew is definitely having an illustrious run.

I'm thinking they probably took that top guys stuff too seriously and are being humbled.

No better display of the tonal difference in WWE than The Revival. In NXT nobody talked to Triple H during Takeover tag team for fear he was probably hiding a boner while he watched The Revival, and on the main roster they're just warm bodies.

I bet Vince thinks Scott Dawson and Karl Anderson are the same person.

Injury to one guy, injury to the other guy, legend finisher buffet and then WrestleMania season where everyone higher on the roster has to come down a few rungs and take spaces in other divisions... That’s like a 20 hit combo to one’s momentum.
Might just be best to ride out the storm and see where they wash out after WrestleMania. Champions are going to need challengers, but with all the PPV shows being cross-brand again, they’re shit outta luck if they’re not in that mix.

People were telling me not to worry when DX and The Club absolutely buried them. People were telling me "It's a good rub no one will remember the next week!". Since then, and since the whole "We're above everyone" shtick, which is something Ascension also did, they've gotten exactly what I thought, they've been Ascension'd
A Tag Team I was so excited about coming up is dead basically, and will never be used to the potential they could have and were being used in NXT, thanks for giving me another reason to hate you, WWE.

I'm still going to have a can of sauerkraut at the ready if they don't win the titles by year's end.

Injuries kill so much momentum.

Yeah they just had mega-bad luck. Those injuries and then the booking put them down for the count.
