Seeing as they’ve apparently filed for bankruptcy, Claire’s is probably going the same way as these other brands. I’ve never bought anything from one of them but even so, they’re a massive name and there was a time when you could find one in just about every shopping mall.

Seeing as they’ve apparently filed for bankruptcy, Claire’s is probably going the same way as these other brands. I’ve never bought anything from one of them but even so, they’re a massive name and there was a time when you could find one in just about every shopping mall. Once Claires closes the nearest mall well have more empty stores than ones being used. I am figuring in the next 5 years it will close. I haven't bothering going to it often since the FYE in it closed. Sure FYE priced their new DVDs and CDs way to high. But their used stuff and clearance sales were great. When they were closing I went and got new sealed copies of the first 2 seasons of BSG for $5 each. Then got a Misfits Crimson Ghost car decal,2 NOFX car decals and a Sex Pistols, the God Save the Queen single cover, decal for a buck each. When just a week before they were wanting 8 bucks each for them. Now that mall has 3 stores I bother looking in when I go. A Gamestop that has crap selection and the staff acts like asking them a question is bothering them. A fairly big Dollar Tree. But it always has stock in the aisles so it is hard to move around in the store. Then a Hallmark/Books a Million store. That is 60% Hallmark store 40% Books a Million. Besides the two tables at the front that have clearance books every other book is priced at cover price. I don't get how the store stays open when most of the books they want full price for can be found on Amazon or Abebooks for half that price if not cheaper. They use to have a good selection of magazines. They were the only store I have seen outside of a newstand or comic shop that carried Maximum Rock N Roll.

Air New Zealand almost went tits up as well when they brought them out. And Air New Zealand has a rep of being one of the best airlines in the World. And they almost went. Well buying Ansett was just one of many stupid decisions that Air New Zealand made when they were a privatized airline. Also its quite ironic that Anestt had a New Zealand operation which had to sold off in order for ANZ to buy them.

Nobody Beats The Wiz....Not only did 95% of my Cd's and movies come from there. The one near me was also a ticketmaster so almost all my wrestling tickets were purchased from there.
