Cleared to stand on the apron as Shane’s partner for 95% of the match? After 2 years gone, I wouldn't completely hate the idea of easing him back in

In all seriousness- WWE, do not f*** this up. Use this man as the main event calibre asset that he is and always could have been in his first run, if you had just saw what everybody else saw in him before it was almost too late. This is a second chance and a new beginning for Daniel Bryan and WWE. Let's do it right this time. Up to Daniel not to f*** it up too with his wrestling style You're absolutely right, and Vince and HHH have to make that clear with him. No more headbutts, slow the pace down, bring back more of the mat work he did in ROH. Like I said, it's a second chance for both Bryan and WWE.

Could easily go more kick-mat based. No dives or head stuff of any kind. Kicks, holds, submissions. Which is what I would expect That would no doubt further his career and he has the moveset and ability to pull it off HBK was able to switch up his style away from doing high-risk moves, and look how the second part of his career went. I don't doubt that Bryan's gonna be able to do the same, especially with the training that he's gotten from Regal.

Wow. Honestly though I'm still going to be half cringing after every bump he takes. Also I can foresee a lot of "OH SHIT HE'S HURT FOR REAL" after every time he sells something. Assuming he's back full time that is.

His new contract is gonna put Alberto's $6,697,021 a year contract to shame. Wow, no wonder Del Rio left, they low-balled him on his previous contract.

This is it. They’re going to add him to the title match to make it one of the most anticipated matches of all time.
Daniel Bryan vs Cedric Alexander vs Drew Gulak for the vacant Cruiserweight Title!

Good news and bad news, Daniel. The good news is, you’re cleared to wrestle again. The bad news is, your first opponent is Seth Rollins.

Bryan once he gets his legs back under him should be right in the AJ Styles role. Can make everyone look good and is reliable always around the midcard or WWE title but most importantly he always has something to do

Yea i'm pretty sure in the build up to this everyone has told him to switch it up and he can obviously do it because he has the ability to do it. If they ever turn him heel again, I wouldn't be surprised if he went into more vicious looking holds ala ZSJ in NJPW

If I had more faith in the Smackdown booking (and if Road Dogg would f*** off), I'd be salivating over the potential WWE title picture- AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn.

I'm really psyched. Just hoping this means he tones it down with the high-risk stuff that put him in this position to begin with. Also hope it means he gets a world title run that doesn't have to be cut short by injury.

If only there was some sort one word of happiness and excitement that we could shout. Maybe some sort of movement to go with it. Three letters, one syllable. I’m thrilled. But please, God, let Bryan be careful and make the most of this chance. We don’t know for how long this will last, so the E better not waste it.

I had the biggest smile on my face reading the news, great stuff. I just hope he stays healthy for the sake of his wife and daughter, but I know he’s gonna be so happy to wrestle in front of his daughter.
And Miz vs Bryan for Summerslam, please.

On the one hand.... SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
On the other, I hope Bryan stays clear-headed enough about this when they're negotiating his contract to pay attention to how often they are contracted to use him. He could very easily be used as a "special attraction" for WWE where he comes out and wrestles only a couple times a year which I don't think he would want. He wants to wrestle as often as he can, and while I'm not saying having him wrestle every single night.... he SHOULD take it easy, not just due to his history but also because he is getting older and extra time between matches will only extend his in-ring career, this does kinda scream that the WWE is saying "We clear him, we have him wrestle semi-regularly.. then when we resign him we put him back on the bench except for Survivor Series and Wrestlemania." Whereas Bryan would much rather take less money elsewhere to be able to wrestle more often.
But, that's a conversation and concern for later on this summer.. right now, I'm in full-on "SQUEEEEEEEE" mode.

I still don't want him to wrestle.
I feel strongly about this so I'll be as balanced and calm as possible.
He had seizures. He has a young family, and to me at that stage you suck it up and put your personal (to my mind, quite childish) 'need' to wrestle to one side and do what is best for them. He has a well paying job and is likely set for life. His wife is earning a regular paycheck is sister in law to John Cena. They're set. He doesn't need to wrestle for the money. I feel (and this is just me, just opinion) wrestling now is selfish and irresponsible. I can't see myself watching much of his in ring stuff.
Even without that, his performance as GM hasn't warmed me to him when he was previously one of my favourites and his attitude throughout his hiatus has bothered me for the above reasons.
If he has to wrestle, let it be with Cena and Miz, guys he hopefully won't work the 100mph indy style and risk further injury. He should be losing those feuds too.
I just can't be happy or excited for this.
