When Bryan steps into the ring tonight, I want him to say exactly what Bret Hart did in January 2010:
“So I guess hell just froze over!”
I’m sure this has been said already—I just woke up from a nap and don’t feel like going through the whole thread—but I really hope he’s learned something from this and dials it back when it comes to his wrestling style. I mean, waaaay back.
They might have to build a new roof for the arena when I go to Smackdown next week.

Right, not trying to be buzz killington here, but what will the protocol be if he gets another concussion? Will it be the same as everyone else or will he be on super secret concussion probation?

You know what's the best part of this return? Despite all the trials and tribulations of his WWWE career that seemed to have lasted for an eternity, the dude is STILL 36 years old. Here are some of the big stars of today that Bryan is younger than: Randy Orton, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, The Miz, Bobby Roode, the list goes on. He's not that much older than Zayn, Owens, the Shield boys either. If he maintains a limited schedule and works relatively safe he could go on into his 40s as a top guy. That's such an exciting prospect.

I think we found BRAUNs tag team partner More likely Shane's partner, but that would be better.

Watch this, Batista agrees to a return right after Wrestlemania.... but his appearance is completely overshadowed by the crowd chanting for Daniel Bryan after an incredible performance the night before.
Batista: This f***ing guy, I just can't win with him!

Is it too much to boyishly hope his return involved him giving a knee plus to Roman and costing him the title while being showered with YES chants?

As a Daniel Bryan fan, I'm really happy about this news. I know he's been waiting a long time for this day. I think he's going to alter his style a bit, like getting rid of the dives to the floor and the head butts. The potential opponents they have on the roster for him present the possibilities for some amazing matches.

While I'd like to see Miz/Bryan, I honestly don't see a suiting end. If Bryan wins, then everything Miz said means nothing. If Miz wins, then Bryan's triumphant comeback means nothing because he lost to 'a guy who don't take risks' or whatever he said. There's no real solution, imo. Eh, Miz is a heel...he's supposed to be proven wrong, I don't see a big deal with him going down (though it's apparent Miz won't be his reason for returning now). Right, not trying to be buzz killington here, but what will the protocol be if he gets another concussion? Will it be the same as everyone else or will he be on super secret concussion probation? I'm sure he'll be eyed VERY closely through his return run, like a "one and you're done" kind of deal. They aren't out of the clear yet with the concussion lawsuits after all. *** As for those apprehensive about his return...I hear you, and I'm on the same side as you for the most part, as it is a very apprehensive excitement to see him return to the ring. That said, the doctors and the Danielson family know his condition far better than any fan does. If he's been doing everything in his power and found methods to restore what he is passionate about, absolutely he deserves another chance on the stage he was forced off of (and don't for one second blame the WWE for that one, they left plenty of money on the table for his well-being). Think of it similar to HBK's return to the ring after being gone for two years. Many legitimately thought he was done with his back injury...hell, they even played into it in his first few matches (which I'm sure we'll see a handful of "scares" to get the audience into it). But his second run with the company brought some of the greatest matches we've ever seen out of him and his opponents.

The timing of this AND Styles injury seem really interesting.

Right, not trying to be buzz killington here, but what will the protocol be if he gets another concussion? Will it be the same as everyone else or will he be on super secret concussion probation? They should give him a helmet and all his feuds will be centered around it like they do with the part timers. "The boys back there are busting their ass 24/7 and YOU get to wear a helmet?"

Holy moly... great news.
Guessing he'll tweak his style somewhat. We're all going to be wincing with every single dive through the ropes if he keeps those up.

So does D. Bry open Mania? I think that'd be an amazing way to get the crowd hyped for the rest of the show.

The timing of this AND Styles injury seem really interesting. I'm really hoping that Styles can still wrestle that match, I want Nakamura vs. Bryan to happen but I think the tag is a better way to usher him in than to hastily throw him in a match that wasn't his as a fill-in.
