Mayberry looked like a complete and utter bore. Hooterville looks like more fun.

I'm genuinely curious what Mayberry would look like in 2018. Wal-Mart would have moved in and closed all the local stores. It would be the only place to shop, and largely the only place to work aside from whatever the local industry was. I see this in most of small town America now. |

Everyone seems to know each other, though. We also only have 1 pharmacy, 2 very small markets, gas stations, etc.
