I get why it’s so long but also WHY IS IT SO LONG?! 😭 Yea, as soon as I saw that I said goddamn it's the end of the year and the new year didn't even start yet However, the good thing is they will probably have a string of releases back to back like they did this year so while the break is long at least we will get quantity in return
Oh yeah, it’s going to pay off for them with how much time they have to work on episodes and such rather than rushing for April and getting a Dragonball Super style situation with low quality that needs to be fixed later.

Or be like Tokyo Ghoul where they rush a whole bunch of shit in the story and Attack on Titan where it just frankly got boring to me
MHA is probably the best thing going on as far as being faithful to the source while also not cutting corners. The anime has done nothing but enhance the story and give you great visuals with their fight scenes
Can't wait for the Promised Neverland to premiere in Jan too

I wish AoT was still boring, instead of downright offensive like the manga is nowadays. I seriously dropped the manga after that last chapter.

{Spoiler}So... basically Eren, Armin and Mikasa have a talk after some things happened and Eren basically told them the following: - He considers himself "free" and the thing he hates the most are people who aren't free - He tells Armin that he knows that he's still seeing Annie and that is Berthold's titan getting to his brain, he's useless and is being controlled by the enemy - Then he tells them that the Marleyan scholars did experiments with titans and humans, resulting in the Ackermann clan, which was made to protect the royal family, which basically means that Mikasa is only that strong because of that trait which manifested when they were kids when Eren was attacked (as he's part of the actual Eldian Royal family). I call this Mikasa having a case of the midi-chlorians. - This in turn makes him say that he hates and has always hated Mikasa since then, because she wasn't free, she was just obeying her instincts to protect him) - At this point Armin tries to attack him but Mikasa intervenes, proving Eren right. Armin attacked again and successfully punched him, but Eren kicked the crap out of him. - The only decent part of this was Armin calling him out at the end asking Eren if the freedom he wanted was the freedom to hurt Mikasa and who would want to be a slave to a piece of shit like him, to which Eren responds with a furious face "Who are you... calling a slave?". However, it was given so little importance in the grand stand of things that one couldn't be be blamed to think it was a rather weak scene. - The fact that Eren himself never questions if any of those things might also apply to him in any point in time also stick out
So, to recap, the three main protagonists of this story are and Edgelord Prince with no redeeming qualities, a badass warrior that's now way less badass and kind of a slave who can't think for herself and hasn't been a focus of the plot for ages, and a peace-loving bookworm that can't fight worth crap and may or may not be unconsciously helping the "enemy".
Screw this manga. So yeah, more MHA can't come soon enough.

{Spoiler} I knew he was being an ass before about the invasion but what the f*** is all this? Mikasa whole shit has been the protection of Eren and he plays her due to the Ackerman bloodline or whatever the f*** is going on and he turns on Armin because of him having the Colossal Titan within him. I know he's supposed to have like 3 titan forms in him so I wonder if that is driving him crazy plus he only has a few more years to live I believe. I know there is something about his brother too helping but like I said I lost track of the story a long time ago and have only read some synopsis since

{Spoiler}Yeah, I would suspect Zeke (his half-brother) is actually messing him up for his own gain (I'm guessing he's the "I wanna see the world burn" villain of the story) and he's a central character in the plot now (the chapter actually ends with some sort of titan attack on the place Zeke was hiding out with some of his troops and he didn't seem to mind it/was expecting it). But the whole manga has been on a downward spiral since Armin ate Berthold. First the flashbacks, then all of a sudden we have a time jump without any note to indicate as such, followed by the killing of fan-favorite potato girl Sasha, lots of not much happening and exposition dumps and now this. Whatever fire or editor Hajime Isayama had when he started it, it's no longer there clearly. Even the art's looking more rushed and sketchy.

But I didn't think it was getting that bad

The only people I know who actually like the ending are fans of Hinata and they gave her a movie which butchered and destroyed Naruto's entire character and arc all to justify them being together.

The ending of Naruto still pisses me off
We have been building up to Madara since the time skip as the big bad, the 10 tails as the end of the world threat but let's f*** all that up for Kaguya who got introduced in the middle of the war arc
The only people I know who actually like the ending are fans of Hinata and they gave her a movie which butchered and destroyed Naruto's entire character and arc all to justify them being together. Yea, the whole thing between him and her was just way too forced at the end
She confesses her love to Naruto in a big moment and Pain just blows her away like she's nothing. Probably her best character moment but nothing comes from it
They kill Neji to get her sympathy points from Naruto in which he finally notices her. All of a sudden after that he's shy and has always liked her according to the movie
I was always more of a Sakura/Naruto guy and they even teased it way early on with i'm forgetting who flat out telling Sakura, Naruto loves her which is why he's gone so far for her and she got taken aback but nothing came from it
Then again they sort of did the same with Jiraya/Tsunade with them never really getting together even though beat around the bush and then Jiraya dies

Finally caught up on the chapters after missing it for like 6 weeks
The Class A vs Class B arc was pretty good and very good character development for a lot of characters
Class B has some fun people on their side and good to see them get their shine
This new arc has me intrigued since they haven't done a big villain arc since the hideout with Overhaul

Picked up the Blu-Ray of the Two Heroes movie at Wal-Mart.
Not very far into it, but the increase in animation budget is very much apparent.

Finished the movie. I enjoyed this a good amount. Animation studio was clearly planning on making the most out of the increased animation budget, because it looks so beautiful. Spoiler for end of the movie: {Spoiler}I’m so used to Super Sentai and Kamen Rider movies being largely disconnected from their series, so the reveal that the movie’s villain was acting on behalf of All For One was a bit of a shock to me
