and someone with the RESTORE THE SNYDERVERSE1 posted a thing saying "All of WB's demands" and hten posted a picture of Snyder with and that's a hard no. and since it's a snyderverser... I'm thinking they meant that was a good thing... and... no... it really isn't. "Why won't WB continue working with Zack after he gleefully ignored their wishes at every turn?!" The whole "f*** Warner Bros, but Warner Bros should definitely pay Zack Snyder money to play with their toys" mindset is just the clearest example of how Sndyer Cutters have no grasp on how things work in the real world. If Warner Media never works with Snyder again just off of the strength of this newfound Green Lantern obsession, they would be perfectly justified, and he would have no one to blame but himself.

Yeah, like... any job if your boss comes to you and says I need you to give me XYZ, Do not give me ABC... and then you not only give them the stuff they explicitly told you NOT to and you ignored the actual assignment. You'd be out on your ass so quick... especially when you already messed up two other big projects and cost the company a ton of money...

You'd be out on your ass so quick... especially when you already messed up two other big projects and cost the company a ton of money... Exactly. It's one thing if you ignore orders, just do your own thing and the result turns out to be far more successful than your bosses ever dreamed, but that wasn't the case. After the success of the Dark Knight trilogy, WB expected Man of Steel to make at least a billion dollars. Realistic expectations or not, it made under $700 million. Ant-Man-level money. Batman v Superman was supposed to do Avengers-level money at a bare minimum. It didn't even break $900 million, and contained a scene that the world is still mocking today. This isn't to say that either of those movies were commercial failures, because a billion and a half between them is still a f***load of money, but given that Snyder has openly said he went against orders on both those movies to do what he wanted to do he's made it easy for the studio to say "If you'd just done as asked they'd have made more money." That may not have been true, of course, but studios aren't generally quick to accept blame for commercial disappointments when there's somebody else to pin it on.

My understanding is due to the advertising blitz BVS actually DID lose money...

If Disney was going to pay me to say BvS sucked, they should at least comp the ticket price.

Not to give anyone any ideas, but if Snyder wants to do JL without WB, he should adapt the first episode of Invincible. That looks right up his alley.

That's why I say let him adapt something like Youngblood.

I hate to re-tread on this, but Snyder seems to want to direct a dark, moody, unnecessarily violent superhero movie with religious overtones and a vaguely Randian philosophy that feels overly self-important. I would think Spawn would be the perfect fit for him.

I believe it had one of the biggest opening weekends and then one of the biggest drop offs in history the next weekend Yep, $422.5 million opening weekend(2nd biggest in Warner Bros. history & 5th biggest ever). However, both inside & outside the US, it experienced a notable poor Friday-to-Sunday hold & set a new record for the worst Friday-to-Sunday drop for a superhero movie release in modern box office history with a 58% decline, which was previously held by 2015's Fantastic Four. In it's second weekend, it experienced an 81.2% decline on Friday & an overall 68.4% drop for the weekend. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_v_Superman:_Dawn_of_Justice
