I remember reading one comment on the internet that I thought was pants-on-head boneheaded that Snyder and anybody who likes his work deserved to be forever broke and homeless, or something to that effect.

However, without any introspection about the kind of weird premise from which such a response derived, it's just more unnecessary hot air in an already stuffy fan discourse. If you want me to respect your cult pick one that believes something less stupid than that the Snyderverse is good. Like…your leader is the reincarnation of Jesus or a that comet will take you to heaven if you drink the koolaid when it passes. Stuff that, while woefully ignorant, is still more believable to me.

I feel I should point out that Snyder isn't especially good at cinematography either. He's only ever served as cinematographer on one movie, Army of the Dead, and it kinda shows. Yeah, most of the signature Snyder cinematography can be attributed to Larry Fong, who worked with Snyder on 300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch, and Dawn of Justice. |
