So, who won and who lost this year's draft? Kayfabe and non-Kayfabe welcome.
Winner: Paige.
Reason: Paige's GM'ing skills are shining with these choices. I don't disagree with a single choice she made.
Loser: Kurt Angle.
Reason: Kurt drafted Jinder. On purpose.
Winner: Samoa Joe.
Reason: Joe has a fresh start, not that he was floundering on RAW by any means. I see Joe picking up the title sooner than later.
Loser: Finn Balor.
Reason: Finn is going to continue to flounder on RAW when he NEEDED a fresh start.

I am fine with Finn staying on Raw. If he'd gone to Smackdown, he'd be lost in the shuffle. With an influx of new guys, he'll at least have some fresh match ups.
In general, I think Smackdown got the better picks, but they've had a better roster before and floundered next to Raw in the past. If you don't actually use your toys, and you turn out weeks of "nothing f***ing happened" TV, it doesn't matter what dream team you've assembled, so I hope they get their shit together.

Balor and Rollins both needed a move. They lose this round. Now they're stuck in the same division as Jinder Mahal.

Winner: SDL fans. Smackdown is loaded once again. Tuesday nights are looking bright again.
Loser: AJ's testicles Nakamura stayed on SDL and is still on the hunt.

Balor and Rollins both needed a move. They lose this round. Now they're stuck in the same division as Jinder Mahal. That's assuming they don't drop Mahal way down the card. Which considering the speed at which he lost the US title, and was immediately paired up with No Way Jose, seems to signal to a much smaller spotlight on him.

I think Seth and Finn will be fine on raw. Not like there is a lot of competition there in the upper midcard compared to Smackdown.

Winner: Smackdown, for getting so much great talent and losing a lot of dead weight.
Loser: Me, because none of that great talent was Strowman, Elias or Finn.

Smackdown quickly became a much more stacked card but also are giving Joe,Jeff, and CAss to rebuild themselves after injuries without the clutter of Raw

That path is no picnic either.

I wouldn't say any of them would have that possibility on RAW with the Universal title, as there is a clear ceiling. Hell, Almas has a better chance at being a world champion than Balor/Rollins at this point.

Considering Jinder Mahal of all people leapfrogged Orton, Styles, Owens, Zayn, Nakamura, and everyone else on the roster, and was champion for 6-ish months(!), I'm not putting any weight on that thought.

Bob Roode is a loser. He’s like the 15th biggest face on that show.

Well it's a lot easier when one title is defended every single PPV as opposed to every 3.

Loser - Me, as I have Raw house show tickets for May and they've plundered Raw of its best guys barring Seth Finn and Elias.

Loser - Big Cass - the amount of talent on smackdown now and the fact that people want to see great matches he runs the risk of being forgotten about quickly. He got a reaction because he attacked Daniel Bryan and that is it, his big test will come after that feud and what they do with him.

Yeah, the big problem with Smackdown has always been getting TV time for everyone. When was the last time Tye Dillinger had a match on Smackdown? Anyone know off hand? You should, considering he was supposed to be the #10 act on Smackdown according to that list, but you don't know because the guy has a televised match once every two months. And it's not going to get any easier since they now have to share PPV real estate with Raw every month.

One really broad loser here is the womens' divisions, I think. Asuka is the only move that feels all that big because she's been presented as a major player wherever she goes. Nattie hasn't and the two nigh-identical heel groups swapping places doesn't really bring about any change if Riott Squad is immediately taking Absolution's place in the Bayley/Sasha storyline. The main event, midcard title, and tag scenes on both shows received radical changes and produced tons of new match-ups, while the womens' scenes changed almost nothing of substance.
