Jose getting ye olde "if he still gets pops after jobbing, keep running dat conga line gimmick!" treatment. Where he's a likeable face but always gets screwed bc shenanigans and/or inexperience. Eventually he'll get a push at an ill-timed moment (i.e. them pushing Jason Jordan as a face when Rollins and Strowman were red hot) or with a horrible variation on their gimmick (ala Adam Rose's "Bunny") which will kill him off completely from WWE main.

I was hoping they would repackage Jose as more of a Carlito heel sorta dude since he's pretty entertaining in the ring when he's doing his offense. The empty sort of faceless face No Way Jose is right now hardly ever gets over in the long term.
