Warning: will murder your speakers/headphones. But goddamn. Again, ten years ago, I'd have never believed you if you told me this was a crowd's reaction to the Mighty Thor. The God of Thunder getting himself a Daniel Bryan-like pop there.

I agree with the latter two, definitely. Thor is a literal god. They already killed off three official gods, doing a fourth like that is just mean. And Bruce still has plenty to do. Steve is dying I can agree on that. I could see them limiting Tony to small appearances as well as the Spider Mans but at the same time, the dude needs to stop. You actually just convinced me. Shit. I think they thought about killing Thor but then he was all...give me more Thor!!!! Please. I agree I think them giving Thor that GOTG type treatment for Ragnarok and Hemsworth being able to show off his comedic chops helped him greatly Now you go to Infinity War were he is a man hellbent on tearing Thanos a new ass, no way you can get rid of him As said already Cap seems to be the one to die to make the ultimate sacrifice while Tony will retire. Bruce/Hulk still has some story to tell and as speculated earlier they really can introduce the other Hulks if they want too

Though he botched twice, still sad to see quill go. Wouldve made an hell of a redemption arc. Eh. To quote a faux god, "to err is human", and as is made plainly obvious, Quill is quite human (because that half celestial god shit is probably not gonna matter again). Dude just learned his girlfriend he just started getting with just died. Wouldn't really consider him completely wrong for getting emotional and going off the rails. What was the second botch?

According to Joe Russo, Valkyrie is indeed still alive so maybe we'll see her in Avengers 4.

I'm guessing the first botch was him not killing Gamora (even though he couldn't cause Thanos changed his gun per se) Second botch would be punching Thanos after finding out Gamora is dead which you can't really blame him for getting emotional after finally getting the feelings returned from her. Pratt did a great job showing anguish and hatred

That's why the bubbles came out instead because Thanos' glove. That's why Thanos said he "liked him" before leaving.

Just got back from watching it for the second time, and I have to say, to use a GETO BOYS album title, that this movie was... ![](https://img.discogs.com/GUF-qqcUBACxQU2zov6TIodEEFg=/fit-in/300x300/filters:strip_icc():format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(40)/discogs-images/R-323189-1357420617-5385.jpeg.jpg)

"EVERY MORNIN THERE'S A HALO HANGIN OVER" *smile* Side Note: Josh Brolin was a masterpiece as a completely CG'ed character. He was amazing as Thanos. I'm intrigued to see how he does Cable in DP2. Here’s a question. Years ago, it was bandied about Andy Serkins getting nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for playing Gollum in Two Towers. Would anyone suggest Brolin nominated for an acting award for Thanos?

The increased roar after the “Bring me Thanos!” line is the cherry. Thor was a hero before. Now, congratulations, you are finally a (movie) god.

Thor wasnt going to die at the end because Thanos had already killed off half of the asgardian. That is my take at least
loved it overrall,love Thanos.
Only disappointed no OG Avenger died and that random Red Skull appearence.Would be better if it was a Watcher. Nitpicks

Nitpicks I'm not pressed that none of the OG Avengers died just because 1) Avengers 4 is clearly going to be the last hurrah for the Original Six, and 2) most of the deaths in this movie will be undone in the next movie, and I imagine any OG Avengers they kill are gonna stay dead.

Watching that clip reminds me of how well they used the Avengers theme song -- first for when Team Cap appears to save Vision and Scarlet Witch, and then in the clip above... especially the above.

That reminded me of huge pop Austin got when he ran in to help Mankind win his first world title. IT's THOR, BY GOD OF THUNDER!

But it wasn't his bad. This is all going to be part of the path to defeating Thanos, that Strange saw. This was the right move for Quill to make.
