Here's the thing about the "half of the Asgardian". Drax died. And he was basically the last of his entire race. So I think at that point it wasn't "half of every race." I think Thanos graduated to "half of ALL life on the universe" or "half of ALL the population in the universe." You see, I'm not even sure Drax is the last of his race anymore. Guardians of the Galaxy establishes Gamora as the last of HER kind as well, but in Infinity War, Thanos pats himself on the back for "saving" the Zen-Whoberis. Of course, Groot is called the last of his kind as well completely independent of Thanos's campaign. Who knows. If the idea is balance, try placing one thing in a balance. Now take that one thing out ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) suddenly it is perfectly balanced. The fact they are the last ones means Thanos would erase then for balance

Apparently Ruffalo gave away the ending last year Is giving away an ending everybody knew was coming really giving anything away? Though I hope we never see a Spider-Man and Hulk movie. Between Holland and Ruffalo the entire plot will be given away before filming has wrapped.

I think Avengers 4 is going to be my jumping off point for the MCU franchises. I've loved the movies (even some of the ones people take huge shits on), but it's all become a bit much to think of and follow and I think this will be a good point for people to get in or out of the movies.

Sure a lot of people are going to see this probably does know this but you still have the casual adults and obviously the kids who probably won't know In regards to Holland they aren't letting him read scripts. At least for Infinity War they didn't so you won't have to worry about spoilers from him anymore

Looking at Cheadle and Ruffalo, I wonder if Terrence Howard and Ed Norton are like f*** why didn't we just continue. I think Norton stopped due to creativity differences but Howard was being a headache as usual

Both Cheadle and Ruffalo are much better suited for those roles. I’d really love to see a solo Hulk film with Ruffalo but doubt that happens.

Ed Norton, however, I'm very glad he's not playing Hulk anymore. I never liked him.

Saw it last night, loved it pretty much. {Spoiler} I was the one person in the theater to mark out for the Red Skull...now the morning after, I feel bad I was so happy to see a Nazi...
Drax DOESN'T get his one on one confrontation with Thanos?
Little details that dawn on me after the movie: Quill still has not seen modern-day Earth. And probably won't....well unless he's resurrected....;-) Also, Cap and Tony still have not reconnected. I'm cool with this, as it'll lead to a bigger moment in IW: Part 2 when they must for a greater good.
Agreed on Thor kicking ass being a markout moment. Before the movie, the people I went with talked about how the movies didn't realize his full potential, sticking him with the fish out of water comedy. This moment shows what Thor COULD be. I imagine people who saw Justice League felt the same way about Superman.

Joe Russo confirmed in a Q&A:
- Thanos allowed half the Asgardians to leave in escape pods - Valkyrie is leading those survivors - what happened to Korg and Miek is for Taika Waititi to decide - the destruction of Xandar was cut from the script early on for reasons of pacing and repetitiveness
