I just figured out how the women;s MITB will go. Natalya will win, it might even be the opening match, or the 2nd match. Ronda will win the Raw women's title, Natalya will immediately cash in and Ronda vs. Natalya for the title will be the longest and most tedious women's feud we will ever see. Think about this too, they're likely banking on Natalya getting over Ronda. Natalya's a good wrestler no doubt, but she's so boring, it's the exact opposite you'd want for Ronda's first major singles feud. Buckle in folks.

Given the comments about Nattie winning, this shit is basically gonna be "Roman Reigns is the uncrowned champion dammit" thing all over again huh? Sheesh.

I don't even see Ronda getting pinned, instead Nattie does a Rollins and cashes in during the match after Rousey kicks seven shades of shit out of Nia and is closing in for the kill.

This Asuka vs. Carmella match has me torn a little bit. Asuka should kill Carmella and get the belt, but it'd also be beautiful if Becky won MITB and finally got her revenge on Carmella by cashing in on her like Ambrose and Rollins. I suppose she could always cash in during the match. And yes, I know I shouldn't get my hopes up for Becky winning.

The way they've set up qualifying matches for the women makes me think that it will be a 6 woman and not an 8 woman ladder match.

Just felt like they'd run out of participants for qualifiers when I saw it was Billie Kay vs. Lana next week. Figured Natalya would get in on Monday and then Lana/Billie, saving Sasha/Bayley for that big blow off match that will never happen.

Calling it now, Nakamura picks a tables match, loses, and then cuts a promo about cereal.

Why have Breezango, Primo, Tye and Shelton cut promos about Money in the Bank if they won't even get to qualify? The build is so long that I thought they'd at least get qualifying matches.

On the Kickoff Show they'll compete in a Money in the Piggy Bank match, which allows them to cash in on Zack Ryder's Internet Championship at any time in the next year.

The Miz vs. Jeff Hardy has been booked as a qualifying match for Smackdown. The other qualifying match..... Rusev vs. Daniel Bryan. We all know Rusev ain't winning. Well, shit, not bothering to read this thread until the build properly started definitely got interesting quickly! IMO a one night tournament is a much better way to make a wrestler look like a badass. Sure, it had mixed results when building future main eventers, but the show had enough good moments to justify giving it another chance IMO. Creatively, I think a lot of people agree with you. I find KOTR interesting in almost all scenarios simply because I find tournament stories engaging. But apparently tournaments have never drawn well for WWE in North America and that's why they tend not to go back to it. If they were intent on giving Ronda a title shot so soon, could they have at least waited til Summerslam when it could've been built up in the mainstream way better?? I've always thought this logic doesn't make sense. Some people get angry because nothing good happens on B shows. Some people get angry because good things happen on B shows that should have been saved for A-shows. In Ronda's case, she is already one of the most controversial wrestlers in history. You, for example, are critical of them not getting her on the Summerslam card for a first match; other people are critical of her for not working house shows, apparently. If she wrestled more, she'd be overexposed and taking TV time from other 'real' wrestling talent that isn't part time, but if she only showed up for the big shows she's then getting special treatment and stealing an A-show spot from a full-time roster member instead. WWE definitely can't please everybody all the time, and it seems like that's a bigger and bigger task every year and they aren't getting much closer to managing it. Just confirmed on SmackDown Live! Asuka vs Carmella For the SmackDown Women's Championship! I'm not normally one to cry foul about a match ahead of time, I try to give things a chance. But this is a baffling choice of match for me. Asuka winning the title from Mella is stupid, because Asuka jobbed to Charlotte, and would then have gone from undefeated Empress to paper champion in the space of a couple of months. Carmella winning when Asuka has now lost twice, once without being pinned, once by losing to Charlotte clean as a whistle with almost no fanfare, is f***ing ridiculous. I really don't see a way this match can go that'll not be a bad way to go. Which means that, since Asuka's streak doesn't need protecting, it's going to be a screwy finish.

So two years ago, could anyone have predicted that after two matches with Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns would be wrestling Jinder F***in' Mahal on PPV? And The Vein Eventer would be the one that had the most recent WWE Title run?

So, after thinking on this a bit, I'm guessing Nakamura picks a certain MITB tradition for this title match.

Also in WWE eyes, MITB is now apart of the big 5 PPVs. This isn’t even a b show anymore.

Last year, it really was a B show, being Smackdown exclusive and having a terrible card. But other years, it's easily been the fifth biggest show of the year.
