Speaking of dumb shit JR says, here's his comments on fans leaving Bashlash early. Oh my. OK let's break it down, JR. What did a lot of fans go in to the event wanting/expecting? I imagine a large portion would have paid to see a great Styles/Nakamura match, and to not cheer for Roman Reigns. What they got was the WWE Title match ending on a double dick shot countout, and Reigns winning in, crucially, not a very good match.Styles/Nakamura match finish, fine, part of wrestling is not always being given what you want, but this is what, the third massively-hyped match of theirs now? When are they planning to deliver? I'm not a fan of pre-emptively booing Roman, personally, but I know many are. WWE knows this. So why put him on last? Why completely ignore the reaction? Why was the match allowed to be total shit? To call the fans unkind or not very smart for reacting negatively to that is just plain wrong.

Screw Backlash people were walking out on Wrestlemania. When will WWE learn if you put Roman last people are 100% gonna dip out early.

It's almost as if WWE's stubbornness about putting out a product people won't like is going to alienate customers. Nah that couldn't be it. It's the smarks that are wrong!

No wonder the product is as shitty as it is when Vince surrounds himself with a cult of yes men who genuinely believe a crowd pays upwards of hundreds of dollars for tickets to a show they want to hate. Jim Ross is a shill who keeps relaxing his throat up for a guy who's publicly humiliated him year on year, and it's a sad sight to behold.

It’s even more glaring when their approach to booking Reigns for that match wasn’t “let him show how good he is at wrestling” (which has sort of worked at times in the past in terms of getting people into the match at least, even if they’re still not supporting Reigns), but “make the other guy work really boring instead”, which just pisses everybody off.

I've had to order out whole cases of chipotles in adobo on Amazon because the grocery store I shop at straight-up doesn't have them and it's cheaper to bulk buy than to go to the better grocery store, but now I'm cramming spice into so many things and nobody in my family is able to stop me. It's opening up some amazing new worlds for me. But as good as chipotle mayo is, the ultimate spread is a mix of mayo, sriracha, and hoisin sauce that makes pretty much any sandwich in the world infinitely better. Any particular ratio on these ingredients cause that sounds amazing and I love sandwiches.

I never measure it out, it's entirely to taste and depending on if I'm cooking for me, in which case I want a pretty brick red colour that burns at my mouth, or if I'm cooking for others, in which case I'll dial down the heat a lot. The mayonnaise is only there to mellow out and run interference on the bigger, stronger flavours of the sriracha and the hoisin, but I'd say maybe go like 2 parts mayo to one part each other thing, taste it, and kind of feel out your preferences from there. It tastes amazing in pretty much any ratio I've had it with, and even better if you smear it onto an open sub roll, slide it into a low oven for a few minutes to toast it up, and the sauce starts to cook a bit into the bread. Just a beautiful thing.

I think the basic concept of in order to get paid, you need to do work, is timeless.

I'd just look at it as akin to a holiday bonus. You work hard for us all year, so here's some extra money for your hard work.

to me it's more compensation for lost wages than "paying someone for nothing". I mean, where I work if there's say a gas leak or a water pipe breaks or whatever and they need to send everyone home until it's fixed, I still get paid for the days I couldn't work because I couldn't enter the building. I don't see how this is any different, within context.

You know what's good? Turmeric. I always add a dose to whatever I'm cooking, really adds to the taste, and, if you have rubbish sinuses or are prone to colds like me, really gives that area a needed blast out.
Obv as with all spices in moderation/caution if pregnant or diabetic, of course.

Cumin is a great base for Mexican/Tex-Mex flavoring, and curry powder on its own can make an otherwise boring chicken breast really tasty. I don't do wraps often, but when I do I usually will boil some chicken breasts with curry powder, and then it's chicken, mayo, romaine or red leaf lettuce, sweet onion, and either an Anaheim or Cubanelle pepper. My go to blend for Mexican type food is cumin, moderately hot paprika, dried red pepper, garlic, marjoram, a very small amount of cinnamon, and a few dashes of lime juice.

A too-minor-to-taste bit of it can really help lift up the flavour of a lot of dishes. And for colds, I always prep up some warmed milk with turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and some honey to try and clear my shit out quickly. All-around great spice.

Ah that sounds close to the Irish remedy my wife is fond of - iirc, warm water, shot of whisky, ginger, honey and lemon. Actually this thread reminds me that I need to top up the house spices and herb supply in the next food shop.
