Personally I think Rhyno is one hell of an underrated performer ever since he came to the WWE from ECW,When he signed for the company I thought because of Vince McMahons fondness of big men he would become a main eventer and be booked as a hard-hitting monster type heel but despite a brief US title reign and Tag championship reign he's hardly been involved in any storylines or feuds that are remembered.
I'd have liked to have seen him involved in more higher level angles as with his appearance and moveset I think he'd have been a truly believable main event monster.
What do you guys n gals think? Would you have booked Rhyno higher up the card and differently? Or do you have other thoughts? Any feuds you'd have liked to have seen him involved in? And what are your opinions on his WWE career overall???

With the right booking, almost anyone could be. 2001 Rock sold the Gore like death and Jericho worked with him too.

Dude could play a monster heel, but i'm struggling to remember if I ever heard him cut a promo. Didn't he usually have Corino as a mouthpiece? That could have been interesting in WWE.

I like Rhyno but I say nah, not likely. He was a shortish, wide, intense guy best suited for the midcard and tag teaming.

Never really saw Rhyno as a main eventer, but definitely feel he should’ve had a better run then he got. I always saw him as upper mid, with the odd main event here or there. Maybe even a brief WHC or WWE champ run, but not perpetual main eventer.

In before “If Jinder Mahal could do it...” 😂
But no, he wasn’t a good promo. He’s a solid brawler and can move well for a bigger guy but I just don’t see him as a top guy in the WWE, even though I enjoyed him on top in ECW and TNA for however brief that was.

Oh absolutely. One of my favorite moments ever is him goring Jericho through the set on SD. Very very memorable spot.

Did Rhyno ever do much in the promo department? I really can't remember Rhyno doing many promos, and I prob. watched like 10% of his career (TNA, Slater-current, some scattered matches in WWE and/or neo-ECW, don't think I watched much classic ECW).
From what I saw of him, he was excellent in the ring, but I can't really think of any particular Rhyno moments that stand out.
I like the guy, and Heath Slater makes him look amazing, but I'm going with no.

I’m a big fan, but I gotta go with no.
Could’ve been much more than he was/is though.

No
Not everyone is going to bump for this man and make him look like a killer like The Rock and Jericho did

If he didn't break his neck, yes, he would have been WWF champion, zero doubt in my mind. Before the break, they pushed him big time. Rock, Jericho, Kane and him having a match where they legit broke the turnbuckle, they did a good job giving him some mystique.
Keep in mind, he was younger than you probably expect. The neck injury really sidelined him, and they would have probably saw the benefit in his relative youth.

I'd have no problem pushing him as a hired gun for an authority figure or for a main eventer (eg. Austin during the Invasion). But I would never make him a stand alone main eventer.

Nah, maybe as a one-off title defense but in 2001 I thought he did very well for himself before the injury.

He should certainly have been bigger than he was in the WWE.
He's got a good look, plays both a monster heel and a comedy face well and is a solid hand in the ring.

Nah, it feels like he had the career he should have. And that’s a damn solid one.
Although, I would like for it to be revealed that his full name is Rhyno Rousey, and he’s Ronda’s uncle.

Main event, I'm not 100% on that. With the right booking, perhaps. But he definitely didn't make it as far as he should've.

No, he lacks the charisma and mix skills needed for the role and would have ended up with Swagger and Jinder of people who main evented that probably shouldn't have.
He's IC level at best and there is nothing wrong with that.
