The very definition of a good hand in the ring, with bonus charisma.
I think he peaked about exactly as far as he should have.
I bet he would have been an asset at the Performance Center. I don't know why, but he strikes me as someone that probably teaches even better than he wrestles.

He was a trainer for WCW celebrity matches, also a talent scout, recruiting guys for the CW division when they were stepping away from being a wall of luchadores.

Remember an interview Power Slam did with James Mitchell about Kanyon that was genuinely heartfelt.
RIP Chris.

AHAHAHAHAHHAA! I didn't really watch WCW back then so this is my first time seeing all this. The funniest part is just how slow it looks when he actually pulls the move off

If Vince had gotten behind him, I could see Kanyon having a career arc similar to Christian. But Vince wasn't behind Christian, he wanted him buried for an asinine reason, the guy even left the company because he was told flat out there was no chance of upward mobility. He only got a main event run because Edge retired unexpectedly and even then his purpose was to put Orton over. Had he stuck around rather than heading to TNA, Christian would have ended up jerking the curtain, getting burned out from being screwed around and hurt, which is pretty much what actually happened to Ksnyon and so many other talented guys in the 00s. If he and Crowbar had been in The TLC matches in front of record Wrestlemania eyeballs instead of Edge and Christian, then the subsequent TV exposure, Kanyon could have had a similar career arc to Christian.

Random Kanyon cutters were one of the highlights of Nitro at the time.
