Between the Saudi Arabian money and the early quote for RAW from NBCU, maybe the funds are now there to create that weekly UK show. Still don't think it would be cost effective for a Network-only UK show. I think they'd need a domestic TV deal, and ITV is obviously out. I think a WWE UK Brand, with its own program on UK is a much more viable and interesting approach than soemthing like 205 live. Thena again,i'm not the one that managed to create a monopoly and a millions worth company

I just want Joe Hendry to get booked for this, if only because I want a mega entrance taking shots at Aiden English and Elias.

The returning names from last year are a bit of a let down, especially since there's no Wolfgang. I was hoping for jody fleisch to finally get a moment with WWE with this years tournament, but I'll take El Ligero. Kinda surprised there's no Joe Hendry or Jimmy Havoc.

I don't know anything about his other work, but Tyson T-Bone really stood out to me last year with his character and style. He might be awful in the ring (I legit don't know) but I'm happy to see him back. Honestly, last year's UK tournament did a fantastic job of getting over all the characters as distinct and interesting and worth caring about.
....of course, the exception to that Jordan Devlin, is also in this year's tournament. He was just completely generic to me, except for the fact that he for all the world looks like a tall dwarf.

To be fair to Devlin, I think he's really stepped it up a notch since the last tournament, I think he'll surprise a lot of people in this tournament. With regards to his personality, just give him the Session Moth Martina to play off of and it's sorted.

He’s since had fun matches over here against Angelico, Zack Sabre Jr. and a tag match with Sean Guiness against Keith Lee and Shane Strickland. All, at worst, really fun matches.

Also to add, Tyson T-Bone does nothing for me. His character and ring work in general is very VERY meh.

Liking some of the names announced here. For me like half the field I'm meh on but that was even more so the case with the last UK tournament so hopefully, these guys still pull something great off.

I would think a lot of those in the second announcement are gone in the first round. NXT Spoiler: {Spoiler}Gentleman Jack already eliminated Gulak. 'Definitive' Guesses: Gibson Coffey Mastiff Ligero Banks Webster Devlin

I sometimes go to Glasgow Celtic games with Joe Coffey. Delighted for him. He's also a personal trainer for anyone who fancies a future WWE star as a PT.
Chuffed for the big chap. He's an absolute gent as well.

Had to miss a few ICW shows.

I don’t follow international wrestling that closely, and even I have heard some hype for Devlin in the last year.

I still can't get over that there's a wrestler whose entire gimmick name is 'Tucker.'

The Import Killer is a brilliant gimmick for the UK scene right now.

Devlin is killing it right now, he was arguably the MVP of PROGRESS Super Strong Style 16 Weekend. He's had a very strong year in OTT as well.
