Should WWE offer US talent the same deal as UK guys?

For me, personally, a massive problem with the performance centre is that the guys who have trained there early in their wrestling career have no chance to develop or fine tune a character away from WWE. They can't really adapt to different styles. I love that I've seen British Strong Style vs The Elite, 3 guys who established themselves in the UK before the fed came for them.

I'd love to see a similar idea to the Young Lions where guys go away and hone their craft. Find a character or style and really develop it. Look how much it's improved guys like Cody and Juice.

A team like AOP could have went to Japan, the UK or Mexico and the American indies and tried to develop a bit more. I get NXT is developmental but it is now a genuine product and having guys debut having established everything would add to it even more.

I'd just love to see a guy like Velveteen Dream touring any of the above mentioned territories and coming back at 23/24 as a polished star.

Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne are the prototypes here. If they were exclusive to WWE they would never have brought their performance to the level it is at now.

Main roster guys might be a bit difficult but I kind of don’t see the harm of dropping NXT house shows and offering them the same kinds of deals. Like, they’d probably have to be fine tuned a bit but they’d at least be able to gain buzz for themselves and learn from other talents as well as be in the performance centre.

That might be REALLY difficult to pull off but that’s my first thought from this.

Definitely. There's so much to be learned outside WWE.

They can still be based at the Performance Centre but they should be taking bookings from wherever they can to learn and improve.

The difference is that Dunne, Seven, Bate, Andrews and the others are main eventing big Indies here every single week, they're not performing for 20 people in a bingo hall. I'm going to a show on Sunday which British Strong Style are in the midcard, and there will be a few thousand people there easily.

Also, no matter how big Progress, Fight Club or whoever get, they're not competition for WWE. Its a completely different model in a different country. ROH, for example, would be seen more as competition, whatever it's size.
