Last year was really impressive for some of the showings of the performance center girls who had come out of non-wrestling backgrounds and could put on some pretty good stuff. Many of them still haven't come TV-ready in the time since so it'll be interesting to see any repeats to measure how much they've improved, or barring that some new surprises out of the performance center who we haven't seen before period.
Also I expect Kavita Devi to make it to at least the second round because apparently she got the most Youtube hits for her bits because of India, I just hope they've managed to get the Great Khali training out of her by then because when she moves, you can just tell who trained her.

It was weird because it seems like she had agility and power to spare but there were moments where she converted back to Khali style static giant and it’s just...baffling.

Maybe as thanks for babysitting a crippled Nixon Newell for 3 months last year they can give Kay Lee Ray more than one damn match this time.
Also gonna throw out my "last chance veteran" suggestion for Sweet Saraya, of course. Purely because I'd like at least one English girl in there, and my usual suggestion of Alex "Hail" Windsor is taking the entire year off to get knee surgery.

Super stoked about this, and I think Steffanie Newell winning or at least getting to the finals and suffering a heartbreaking loss in the way to go after how things went for her last time. It seems like a perfect opportunity.

I would mark for Toni or Piper. I basically got into indie wrestling because of paying to see them, I've met them now, and they're such big names now that I'd be happy to see them make it.
But, having now become a fan of indie wrestling via the MYC originally, what I now want is that experience so many people on here have had; that 'holy shit, that's one of my ones' moment when an indie talent shows up on a WWE show.
Give me Charlie Morgan, Sammii Jayne, Jetta, Laura di Matteo, Nicole Matthews, Meiko Satamura, Rhia O'Riley, Kris Wolf...
edit: Oh, and one more idea...
SESSION MOTH MARTINA.
Also, get Session Goth, El Motho and Session Mario in there. They all deserve a shot.

Looking forward to this again. More so than if they were to do the cruiserweight again.

I think Kacy Catanzaro is likely going to be the one who makes a deep run based off her previous non-wrestling accomplishments, like Shayna did last year. They aren't going to pass up whatever rub she would get from being featured on American Ninja Warrior.

I really hope Jazzy is match ready
She could still very well be the female Braun of WWE.

I'd love to see Millie McKenzie in this but she's probably too young for WWE to want to use these days.

With Toni Storm on a UK contract and not a NXT deal, I can't see them giving her the win here. I think they have her earmarked to be the female star of the UK brand when its up and running. I cant see them using the MYC to build that particular brand as a MYC winner doesnt really mean much when trying to hook in a fresh new audience for the eventual UK show

I'm not overly familiar with the indie scene, but I'm hoping for a return for Jazzy (and then a contract for her).
I'm also hoping they do the "veteran gets a second chance" again...but I'm trying to think who. Names like Melina, Kaitlyn and Victoria would be good choices in theory, but all three would be better choices for next years Royal Rumble (assuming that's going to be an annual thing). I liked someone along the lines of Serena, who had all the tools to be a star but didn't make it, but it's hard to think of women that fit that bill from the last decade. Would it be too odd for it to be Emma? She's making a name for herself on the independent scene, she fits the bill, but it's quite soon after her release.
From what I'm hearing from the house shows, I assume Kacy from American Warior will be in the Bianca BelAir spot of "holy crap this girl is better than she should be". And speaking of Miss BelAir, she's my pick to win at the moment, depending on how big a push they give her in the next few tapings.

I could see Solo Darling getting a call. Chelsea Green would be obvious. Veda Scott should get a look. Priscilla Kelly works Evolve a lot so she should be on their radar. Maybe someone like Thunderkitty.

I would love it if they bought in Meiko Satamura and gave her the proper legend treatment. Just actually sell her as the 23 year veteran who has only gotten better with age who can wrestle rings around her opponents. Hell, have Asuka talk about just how good she is in the hype packages
