if those are the eyes then the head looks better than I expected... but the proportions are still all wrong.
He's got a giant god damned head and a regular persons body...
also... and i don't know if the creators of this film realize this... HEDGEHOGS ARE NOT FUZZY... they're pointy that's a pretty key part of the games...
(well the underbellies and face are fuzzy... but you know what I meant.)

Not great but it definitely could have been worse.
Somewhat reminds me of the warehog look...
The lack of socks is still slightly awkward to me.

Was it really that hard to do something like this? Hell there are countless animated variations they could have gone with. That, something inspired by the Sonic Mania Adventures shorts, hell a Sonic Boom movie would be infinitely better than what we'll be getting next year. |

Alleged second poster.... not confirmed by the studio. I mean the blue streak through the city is good... but... the legs... oh god the legs. I'm sitting at a doctor's office waiting for my wife's appointment yo finish and just snorted loudly when I got to his legs. The way they're positioned in relation to his "blur streak" makes it look like he did an action that would make for an interesting, more mature episode of "Sonic Says." |

Design for Sonic in the movie has supposedly leaked from movie promotional material: {Spoiler}  Eh, not as bad as the poster suggested but not particularly good, and a downgrade from what the designers in Detective Pikachu have pulled off. |
