Everything Austin was doing. He was on some next level shit in 2001.

DDP as the stalker was one of the most unexpected plot twists ever-and when he was reaveled it was one of the most raucous audience reactions I’ve ever seen.

The Invasion PPV itself was pretty damn good IMO. The RVD/Jeff Hardy feud. William Regal’s shitlord antics in general.

The early, pre-Tacoma Raw reaction to WCW, with everything they were doing getting face pops and their wrestlers, from DDP on down, getting cheered. It’s still unfathomable to me how it all went wrong thanks to one hostile crowd in a market that wasn’t traditional WCW territory in the first place.

The ECW reveal was a great moment.
Austin was hilarious in general, but his interactions with Tajiri and Hurricane were especially funny.

The birth of The Hurricane. I much preferred that character over Sugar Shane Helms.

Steph looked like this: ![](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/de/39/6d/de396d76bedfac7ebb055999f74e5a0f.jpg) OSW reminded me just how hot 2000-2001 Steph was. She was such a babe at the time.

The entrance set for the Invasion PPV was pretty cool, with WWE and Alliance members coming out from opposite sides of the stage and down separate ramps that formed into one.

RVD being over like rover, despite supposedly being a heel. I interpreted it as RVD being a face or tweener in a heel stable. Like he was out for himself regardless of affiliation. I miss the WCW US Title belt. I think it would compliment the IC Title better. I liked the way Tajiri was booked during this time. I wish they had kept the Light-Heavyweight title on him post Summerslam.

The night the Alliance was formed is still one of my favorite moments, especially Uncle Paul's "Savor the Moment, JR" speech at the table and his glee at surprising everyone with the ECW originals realigning under him

Stasiak being a bloody funny goon Majority of the match wins being 50-50 or slightly alliance way, except they somehow always made WWF seem more important
