Look. Like Last Jedi or don’t...it’s not getting retconned. The thing made a BILLION DOLLARS. It’s debuting on Disney+ when that kicks off. Might there be changes? Maybe, I don’t know but a tonne of them? No way because, again, BILLION DOLLARS. Yeah, they might change a few things... but it's not like they are going to suddenly say nope that didn't happen!

Forget Avengers, forget Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, even forget Toy Story 4. This is the must see film of 2019.

Oh, absolutely, they change the story and make it make sense, grand go for it. But some are acting like JJ’s got full approval to make a film that, again, made One Billion Dollars not exist anymore.

I'm hyped, but I'm real nervous about that cackle. That'll either be the thing that makes this movie or plunges it into prequel levels absurdity, depending on how they explain this. The EU/Legends canon had it where Palpatine was able to use his Force spirit to transfer between hosts after death. Methinks Abrams is taking this into consideration.

Hopefully Disney will do the right thing and put the Fox fanfare back in to the opening of this.

Yeah that's not happening.
I'm still team Avengers, but it's all Disney so they don't care haha.

No wonder everyone wants to be a Sith. They escape certain death all the time.
/Waits for them to make the comic moment where Boba Fett survives the Sarlacc canon.

I remember The Last Jedi trailer being the first Star Wars trailer that didn’t feel like a Star Wars trailer. That made me nervous. Then the movie was a mess and didn’t feel like much of a Star Wars movie. The mass rejection of Last Jedi was a huge turnaround considering how much Force Awakens was received and praised.
This trailer feels like a Star Wars trailer. It looks Ike a Star Wars movie. I’m excited. Hearing the emperor laugh has me guessing. Is he a clone? Was the emperor in Return of the Jedi a clone? Is he something else? The Rise of Skywalker name is intriguing. Will they make Rey a Skywalker after all? Idk. I’m definitely here for this movie.
The Last Jedi was an unnecessary mess. It did far more harm to the franchise than good. I have a feeling that history will show that Abrams should have done the entire trilogy. This poor guy had to undue so much damage that never should’ve happened. Star Wars fans will thank him for it though.

I liked last Jedi and agree they should have let Abrams do all three in the trilogy.
Just from a narrative stand point they should have only had one creative lead so the story flows better.

Hayden coming back makes sense if he appears as a ghost force to Kylo.

I mean, they could, but they'll have to pull a mighty big pull to make Kylo a liar, and also make the whole vision thing Rey had on the island in the pit have a completely new meaning, given that was probably he realizing the truth herself, with the isolation of it.

I mean, I get what they were going for with having three different voices telling an overall story with Colin Trevorrow doing the third movie. Then Book of Henry happened...

Clearly, the laughter isn’t teasing Palpatine. It’s teasing the appearance of Sith Rollins.

We need to stop again with this narrative of Last Jedi having some sort of mass rejection or being a failure. Just because a certain segment of the fanbase didn't like it and it had its issues doesn't mean the movie wasn't a smashing commercial and critical success in both theaters and on home releases. If people really didn't like it, it wouldn't have been either.
