That concert he did on WrestleMania weekend was properly filmed by WWE, as it turned out. Part of a full documentary coming out next week about his album.

...So, is he an actual artist or what?
Dude is on his guitar more than he wrestles.

I laughed at seeing the crowd approving of Elias punching them in the face in the town ballad song. The intro of it made me think of Alice In Chains' "Rooster". But no "Wonderwall"? Awwwww. Regardless.... ![](https://i.giphy.com/media/NiOPyn6a7tV3q/giphy.gif)

Has there been any talent that's turned it around from NXT to the main roster as much as Elias has?

...So, is he an actual artist or what? Dude is on his guitar more than he wrestles. According to the E&C podcast, he's been playing the guitar since he was a kid and he fumbles live at times because he's a heel. Basically he's taken his real life hobby of guitar playing and meshed it with artists he enjoys to make his wrestling persona.

It just frustrates me because you see how entertaining Elias is with the creative freedom he gets. Imagine how much better the shows would be if more people got that same freedom.

I love hearing podcasts and reading stories about how wrestlers do the things they do whether it's stuff like this to even wrestlers mentioning them suggesting an idea and Vince going with it.

Some stars would excel and we'd possibly get some actual characters in WWE again. Others it'd just be more of the stuff that drives most fans nuts. Both Jinder and Roman have claimed to have creative freedom for their promos and presentation and... yeah.

It is amazing that they really stopped allowing it to happen so much. When the biggest acts in WWE history where characters the wrestlers came up with and more be themselves ampped up. You here the stories about How "Stone Cold" the nickname for Austin came about. The Rock becoming the Rock based on just wanting to turn heel and lash out on the fans. John Cena rapping on a bus touring a tour that lead to the big Push Cena got after he got over with it. The more a wrestler has a say into the direction and the more that wrestler believes in what they are doing because they relate to it. It how they become more over. This is what Reigns needs to do. He needs fine himself what more him, turn him heel and find his "Rock" so to speak. Fans boo him, start lashing out on them in his way. If he does it in a entertaining way, down the line he could turn face and be the store, like the Rock did and Austin. they both where heels but won the fans over by being entertaining. Reigns lack that personality that catches on.

I for one wish Damien Sandow got full creative freedom. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
