I’ll believe it exists when I see the trailer.

Garrett Dillahunt as Cy Tolliver, please. Already played two characters on the show, so why not. Can be a trope. They make a sequel he can play someone else.

Deadwood's probably my favorite HBO show but I'm just not really hyped for this.

Production began today. ew.com/tv/2018/11/05/deadwood-movie-starts/The story involves S. Dakota's impending statehood, so they're jumping several years it sounds like (to 1889). I also did not know that the sets were still up; used on Westworld (I don't watch Westworld, sorry.)

Hopefully that isn't the full list, it's missing a ton of secondary characters I'd love to see again. (Dan, Merrick, Tom Nuttal, Wu....)

I understand why no Jeffrey Jones, but Merrick was a big part of the show imo.

I understand why no Jeffrey Jones, but Merrick was a big part of the show imo. Considering they kept him on the show after that incident, it is a bit surprising.

To be honest my primary knowledge of this show is that every time I see the title I go, "Oh, that Doctor Who spinoff th-- Oh, wait, that was Torchwood."

I still enjoyed it but a lot of the time I just understood that characters were hostile to each other without getting why.

The thing I always liked best about the show is how Deadwood felt like it was a real, connected town. It felt like that’s how the actual Deadwood maybe been. Like, there’ll be a scene of Bullock walking down the thoroughfare, and Swearengen will yell somethomg at him from his balcony, all while Tolliv r looks on through the window of his saloon.

I'm stoked but being set so far from the series that means season three won't be resolved
