Looking at the squads for the coming season, one thing that really sticks out is how tiny Fulham's is. 21 first team players. I hope they've got some talented kids coming through, or they're going to struggle. Along with Wolves they were far and away the best team in the Championship last season. Mitrovic and Schurrle are two good additions and Sessegnon is going to be a real star. But I do worry about how weak they look in defence and in the goalkeeping position (two positions they will need to be seriously good if they wish to stay up). I think they definitely look better than Brighton and Cardiff. They just need to find one more team to stay ahead of!

I’m a yank, so one of you fine Brits sell me on which team to cheer for. You should definitely pick a good team. I support a shit team (because I was born there) and it's a life of misery and despair. You are in the fortunate position of been allowed to choose anyone so just pick Man City, Chelsea or Man United. Sure, people will accuse you of being a glory hunter, but ultimately it will give you a much more enjoyable football supporting life!

I think their starting eleven is fine, certainly good enough to be comfortable in mid-table. Once injuries and suspensions kick in I don't see any depth at all, and that will be a big problem for them. I'd say Cardiff are a dead certainty for the drop. They're workmanlike without any real quality, and Warnock simply isn't a top level manager no matter how many times he gets teams promoted.

Predictions:
1. Chelsea 2. Liverpool 3. Man City 4. Arsenal 5. Tottenham 6. Man Utd 7. West Ham 8. Leicester 9. Everton 10. Burnley 11. Wolves 12. Crystal Palace 13. Watford 14. Fulham 15. Bournemouth 16. Southampton 17. Brighton 18. Newcastle 19. Huddersfield 20. Cardiff
I'm bound to be wrong but I have a feeling that it's going to be a bad year for Newcastle and I see Rafa walking out if he's not pushed.
Chelsea may have lost to Man City in the Community Shield but with no Champs Lge this year I'm tipping them for the league. Man City will want the Champs Lge. I would honestly like to see Liverpool win the league if they play the kind of football they were last year. The signing of Alison could be key. Man Utd I see imploding and Mourinho leaving before the end of the season.
I'm really a bit optimistic more than anything with Arsenal, we have no idea how Emery is going to do and we have a tough start. Hopefully I won't retract this prediction in a free weeks! Aubameyang should be competing for the golden boot this year.
West Ham should do well under Pellegrini but wouldn't be surprised if they flopped. I can't see Huddersfield surviving for another year and I don't think Cardiff have enough strength based on their signings

Last Saturday, Nashville SC suffered the worst loss in USL history to Toronto FC II. For shame, Nashville! For shame! We're still kinda new to this! ...blame the Titans? You just don't want to lose to a reserve squad that has finished last in the league every year since inception. Especially as their first win.

Some goalkeeping news in the Premier League today.
Joe Hart has signed for Burnley on a two-year deal which puts an end to his Man City hell.
Thibaut Courtois hasn't turned up for training at Chelsea for the second day in a row. No doubt trying to force through a move to Real Madrid.

Well more reports about Pogba trying to get out. f*** Mourinho, if Paul leaves it's because his manager ran him out of town. If he treats one of his best players that way why would anyone play for him?

Looks like the world record transfer fee for a goalie is about to be broken again (possibly twice) as Chelsea have agreed to sell Courtois to Real Madrid and look like they’ll be signing Kepa from Bilbao. Not a fan of Courtois refusing to turn up for training to try and force a transfer.
