Yes. I seems to mostly be older people, say 60+,or people that grew up on farms.

Never personally done it but I have a few relatives that have said that was one of their favorites thing when younger.

I've tried it, just tastes like nuts in coke. What I want to know is, has anyone ever tried to make Homer's "Skittlebrau" (Skittles in beer)?

As someone who lives in South Georgia, I have never heard of doing that until just now.

I’ve seen my cousin put peanuts in a Dr. Pepper. Just seems like something I wouldn’t like at all.

I'm not from the South but I learned about this like 3 or 4 years ago and absolutely love it! Highly recommended!

Heard of it several times, but never tried it. Now, peanut butter/banana/and mayonnaise sandwich on the other hand....that is nothing but pure awesomeness.

I am more of a Texan than a southerner, but I have tried it with Dr Pepper, and it wans't that bad. Now that I think of it, I might try to reduce some Dr Pepper down to a syrup and toss some peanuts and popcorn in the mix.
Speaking of regional delicacies, anyone have a hot Dr. Pepper. It is basically boiled Dr Pepper with a wedge of lemon?

Didn't we just have a thread on this... We definitely did, clearly Big Peanut have made it to FAN trying to push their peanuts in Coke agenda on the masses.

Didn't we just have a thread on this... We did, but for some reason it became a thing on Twitter a couple days ago. When I saw people 'freaking' out about it, it was like: "Y'all haven't heard of this? We've been doin it for literally decades."

Here in Minnesota, I've heard of peanuts in whiskey and whiskey-related cocktails, but never in soda pop.
