I can't pinpoint when exactly I started watching but I remember Ultimate Warrior, during his brief WWF run in 1996 when I was 3/4, being the first guy I got super into so I'll say him. I also loved other guys like Undertaker, HBK, Bret Hart and Hogan but Warrior really stood out for me. My mom rented WM 7 from the video store for me and the Warrior/Savage match really made an impression on me.

Rick Martel spearing the cologne in Jake Roberts Wrestling on the Brother love show was what hooked me, Roberts the week after wearing contact lenses to give the impression that the spray had damaged the pigmentation in his eyes really had me believing it was real. Martel became the coolest guy id seen ever after that

Razor, happened to be watching superstars and saw his debut vignettes. I'd seen wrestling here and there and was aware of the top guys, but that got me watching.

Mick Foley. Went to a cousins house, played "WWF Attitude" on the Playstation. Really liked the character. He told me that it's a real show you can watch every week. Started watching. 19 years later I shared the ring with Mick as a referee for House of Hardcore. Didn't tell him the story but privately I thought it was neat.

Stampede Wrestling, particularly Bad News Allen. Then Rey Mysterio got me back into it after years away. I stopped watching in the mid-2000s and only followed the goings-on through 411 and the boards here. Lucha Underground got me back into it hardcore.

Dynamite Kid. He was small, fast, athletic and powerful. As a kid, I was small and fast, so I just gravitated to him.

Initially in 91 it was probably Hogan, Warrior or Taker
After I lost interest in the mid 90's Austin got me back in in 98 and I've watched ever since.

The Ultimate Warrior was the first wrestler who caught my interest, when I saw him in a WWF sticker book. He looked so awesome to a 9 year old kid.
But once I actually started watching wrestling, it was Randy Savage who really hooked me. He had such a strong, cool presence, unlike anything I'd ever seen before.

Randy Savage. Followed closely by the Undertaker and Jake Roberts (I started watching right before SummerSlam 91)

My very first memory is a Hulk Hogan vs. Bob Orton match that was on free TV, I’m not sure what show it was.
But it couldn’t have been the first time I watched because I distinctly remember I knew who Hulk Hogan was.
Based on Google, it took place in May of 1987, so I would have been four at the time.

I started really noticing it, around 1991, when I was 4, and watching with my brother. Savage was terrifying with his promos, but cool at the same time. When I jad surgery, in 1992, my mom spent all that Saturday, watching all the wrestling shows with me, while my brother called me, to see how recovery was/talk about the shows.

The Iron Sheik was the first wrestler that caught my eye the first time I watched Georgia Championship Wrestling. I even wrote his name on my Fall Guy truck!
Then it was Ric Flair. He was the coolest mofo I'd ever seen.
I also started watching Memphis around the same time, and it was Lawler, Dundee, and especially Handsome Jimmy that hooked me.

in WWE:
Macho Man and Warrior and Jake the Snake piqued my interest.
Undertaker got me hooked.
in NWA:
Flair. Dude was on another level.

The first exposure I had was flipping channels one Saturday, early 1992 and came across an episode of Superstars and an in progress Papa Shango promo. 8 year old me was hooked.

A heel Ken Patera in his prime, at a Mid-Hudson Civic Center (Poughkeepsie, NY) television taping. He would not let go his swinging neckbreaker on some poor scrub and we all cheered loudly for the "bad guy", and Ken obliged us by swinging the guy for another minute. I had so much fun that we attended MSG house shows for years to come.
Good times.

It was The Rock/Mankind feud at the beginning of 1999.
As a middle schooler that felt like an outcast, the handsome guy picking on the "freak" was a storyline that intrigued me.
However, it was seeing Rey Mysterio and Ultimo Dragon in a video game that convinced me to tune into wrestling. I saw them as playable characters in WCW/N.W.O. Revenge and thought, "wow, they look like superheroes".
