I had watch some before this...however. when I was 3rd grade I was in the hospital for sometime. I started watching Prime Time Wrestling during the build to Wrestlemania VII. The first match I remember? The British Bulldog vs The Viking. (before he was The Berzerker)

The Iron Sheik. I was a kid with no concept of politics or heel/face or anything and he was the first guy that I saw that looked really cool. lol

Dusty Rhodes. Saw a clip of Flair and the Andersons breaking Dusty’s leg, then came the Hard Time Blues promo and I was instantly hooked

Hank Scorpio
He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

Early on, Hogan. Missed the entire New Generation stuff, picked it back up in the Attitude Era, when it would've been Austin, Undertaker, Foley...and X-Pac. And then definitely got hooked for good when Rey Mysterio came to WWE.

I don’t know if I could pick one single wrestler that hooked me, I remember just loving wrestling. Probably a combination of Hogan, Andre and Savage?

Rock
The first wrestling segment I saw was when he called Kane a Big Red Retard and Big Show a short haired piece of monkey crap.
9 year old me thought that was the best and funniest thing ever.

Barry Horowitz.
No joke.
For some reason, I just latched on to his whole "only jobber allowed to get offense in" thing.

Macho Man Randy Savage. My first show and PPV (although I knew who the characters were due to having the stick album) was his Wedding to Elizabeth and subsequent Jake Roberts feud. Which was captivating.

Undertaker as a kid
Stopped for awhile in the mid 90s, from like 4th to 7th grade-ish
Flipping through the channels and seeing Mankind got me back in in late 98.

Being a 6 year old 96 when I started watching and with WCW being my exposure, it was Rey Mysterio Jr.

It was part Stone Cold and part The Rock.
Amazingly, it was a lot of Austins image that just hooked me. The vest. The bald head. The attitude. Flipping the bird. Him on the Posters, video game covers..it just screamed rebellious badass.
And the first time I watched a RAW The Rock was berating Mankind (and even though he was a heel..) he seemed like the coolest guy.
