Figured considering I've been interested in this new feature, so rather than make new threads, I'd just make an all-purpose considering how well-received it's been so far.
Today's review is Street Fighter: The Movie (aka "Kick Him Until He's Dead"), where the guys discuss a real-life monster fight, the various similar titles, and how for them, it was Tuesday.

Good, I'm not the only one who thought this would have been better as a live action G.I: Joe movie.
And given the fact there was an official G.I:Joe X Street Fighter toy line that was out at around the same time that makes the similarities even more glaring.
And yes next to Bison, Zangief is the other highlight of this film. (The change the channel bit, the mock kaiju fight with Honda and this exchange with Dee Jay: Dee Jay: Aw man there goes my pay cheque. Zangief: Wait? we're getting paid?)

They discuss Rad, a BMX movie about cycling without the drama of Breaking Away.

They discuss Rad, a BMX movie about cycling without the drama of Breaking Away. It’s funny they reviewed this as I just saw the nostalgia critic review a couple days ago. It’s a good thing I did since a lot of the things they talked about have gone over my head. I like their review style is more just chatting about their memories of the movie instead of an actual linear summary

I totally love James' "fake rental store" setup complete with old computer and promo display items. It looks great.

They are really going even further with the horror theme. Those horror elements before the review starts.

I just love how their intro is done like a local ad that you would see on cable back in the 90s and early 2000s, as well as the fact that the "location" is right next to a retailer that no longer exists.

James' collection of VHS tapes and laserdiscs is pretty impressive, I have to hand it to him.

Bonus vidéo on Channel Awesome. Doug Walker stops by the store I guess the whole fiasco with channel awesome didn't completely ruin James' relationship with Doug. It's probably an interesting video, but I'm gonna skip it since I don't want to put money in michaud's pocket.

I bet that when the camera stopped, Brad turned to Doug and said "I can't wait to do the next season of Pop Quiz Hotshot". Those vintage Looney Tunes shorts were restored for DVD and Blu-Ray and they really look gorgeous- very vivid colors compared to the old syndication prints I grew up with on TV.
