Earlier, I was hungry, but felt too lazy to make anything. So I reach into my fridge, pull out a brick of romano, break off a big, crumbly chunk, and eat it. Only then did I realize how good it really was.
Cheese is pretty common here in the 'States, and there's a lot of different kinds worldwide. And I eat A LOT of it. But with all the varieties, I was wondering, what is the BEST cheese, overall?

I have to say that Americans don't know cheese.

I have to say that Americans don't know cheese. You mean flavor, or variety?

Both, my friend, both... I've never had any decent cheese in the US, to the point where I've given up on anything but cream cheese.

Cow's milk is pretty mild stuff, as are the cheeses. Goat and sheep cheeses are pretty sharp. Like that percorino romano. It's from sheep, which drives a lot of people I know from eating it. "Sheep? DISGUSTING!" But I guess trying sheep and goat cheese is an inherited kind of thing.

Not the case, really... it's mainly cos US milk is homogenised all to hell... Stilton comes from cow's milk, and is the greatest cheese there could ever be.
