Due process doesn’t matter. For £50 you can buy yourself out anyway, That is after the hell of spending three turns in jail.

One time I was in jail and people kept landing on my property and having to pay me. I felt like a G since I was locked up and still getting paid.

For that matter, what's the purpose of the Free Parking rule? I know about the unofficial Free Parking rule (ie, where you collect all the money paid from luxury tax, chance, and community chest, but I dont know why it was on there in the first place.

For that matter, what's the purpose of the Free Parking rule? I know about the unofficial Free Parking rule (ie, where you collect all the money paid from luxury tax, chance, and community chest, but I dont know why it was on there in the first place. The Free Parking space is just supposed to be a consistent neutral space guaranteeing a spot on the board that won't benefit or hinder you financially. It's the only spot in the game that doesn't do anything whatsoever. However, house rules have warped the spot as a game extender where you collect all the money given to the house (imagine that happening in real life), not realizing that it undercuts the flow of the game. |

I remember playing a pc version of monopoly and when you land on the just visiting area it would either add "Thanks for coming!" or "That's nice." |

Becuase you had to always buy property every turn towards the end of the game every spaec is a potential death trap EXCEPT free Parking. |
