I thought that Little Muppet Monsters was cancelled because Jim Henson didn't think it was that good? Nobody liked it, including Jim. Yeah Jim only bothered to do 2-3 lines per episode.

I'm amazed, with this being a wrestling centered board, that nobody has posted the best part of this particular season yet.... Oh yeah!

Huh, I thought Rock and Wrestling was an NBC show, not CBS. However, I was about 4 in 1985 so how the hell would I know.

And yet that too doesn't have one clip of YA. At least one of the ABC specials had a bit of Wolf Rock TV so THAT wasn't totally lost....

2 years later was another cursed Sat. morning season for CBS. There was the GPK cartoon controversy (it didn't make the air, I think because parents) and wasn't that when Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures got pulled due to the "cocaine" episode?
As a result of the former, BTW, I believe Muppet Babies expanded to *90* minutes. Talk about taking advantage of other people's mistakes!

I bought that ad on a magnet at C2E2 last year. It took me a few months before I realized they gave Hogan zebra stripes for tights due to color scheme necessity.

Mostly based on the fact that Little Muppet Monsters ended up getting pulled when CBS figured they'd get higher ratings with just an hour of Muppet Babies. Then there's the Young Astronauts affair. I guess Rock 'n' Wrestling in a way when you consider that some guys like Snuka and Richter had left the company by the time it made it to air. EDIT: I thought of this cause I did watch the LMM premiere on YouTube last night. Not a bad idea, but it was just all over the place. Is the kid in Young Astronauts a space Nazi, He's got blonde hair and doing the Sieg Heil

I like how they used an illustration based on the real-life Hogan and not the cartoon version. Sticks out a bit.

I like how they used an illustration based on the real-life Hogan and not the cartoon version. Sticks out a bit. It looks like Mean Gene's face with Hogan's hair and body.

I like how they used an illustration based on the real-life Hogan and not the cartoon version. Sticks out a bit. .........curious: because it's a better visual (which it is), or because the ad's artist(s) didn't have any reference work on hand to know what the cartoon product would look like?

Probably the latter.
